Nice incremental upgrades on the 2024. I would like to see a fully redesigned interior (Ram is still the best in my view) but the upgraded screens across the lineup are a good step forward. I know that price is a big factor for some, especially fleet buyers, but setting a minimum level of quality - like on the center screen and instrument cluster - sets a standard that ultimately helps used truck prices, which in turn increases desirability of the truck and spurs new truck sales. Thanks for you quality content Alex.

Transmission is an absolute garbage on my 22 and was even worse on my 2019. After 3 appointments for the transmission - dealer says it works fine, but for me hard downshifts and clunks are not normal for a $70k truck. If this would be the cheapest vehicle on the market - yeah you get what you pay for, but literally can get a Lexus for this price... Overall after having 3 Fords and numerous, numerous warranty loaner F150s - can confirm they're all garbage...

What's the true difference between 'projector' and 'reflector' LED headlight modules?!? I can't seem to find the true difference nor which is better than go with if choosing feature content for a new vehicle or if I was going to upgrade to a new set of headlights...
@Johnny_Socko Жыл бұрын
The idea of projectors is that they focus more of the light directly on the road ahead, whereas reflectors have a lot of "splash", i.e. light that goes off to all sides as well as the road. As an owner of a vehicle with LED reflectors (not an F150), I can say that they are still the best headlights I have ever had -- the road is very well-lit, and the light is clear & even. I think projector vs reflector is not a big deal, but LED vs halogen definitely is -- from now on I will never buy a car without LEDs.

As a guy who owned 9 trucks from every brand (except a Nissan) including a '92 F-150 and a '22 F-150 Lighting Lariat EV. To me, the 2024 F-150 has sooooo many crazy, complex, random, unorganized lines with the hood scales; side vents; angles and lines (inside & out) that don’t "flow" with other parts of the body. Crevices all over; mirrors; or tail light lines (which do kind of look like Nissan Titan); along with a busy top dash, that doesn’t match… it’s just a design that (to my eye anyway) is going to look super old (and old fast)… where simple is better for not looking old over time. Plus, with the "Pro" tailgates trying to copy the Ridgeline. But unlike the Ridgeline it’s a lil’ door that a forklift cannot drive up to with 4x8 sheets or load a washer & dryer (like my wife's Ridgeline has done with ease). And also the buttons to operate the power tailgate up and down are obviously hard to reach and unintuitive without a remote after watching a few videos. And now Ford is charge even more $$$!!! 🙄 Buy the time I got my F-150 Lightning (which is long gone now w/175 miles not being near enough as it turned out, even with the biggest battery pacK) Mmmmmm 🤔😏 Ford Corp (NOT the dealer) had jacked up the price 2 times to where the swing was about $17,000 MORE. Now Ford cannot give the Lightning away. Hope that may help others out there. 😇

The way most US public roads are crowned (slightly higher in the center, sloping down gently to the curb), the side-swing tailgate door is more likely to stay "open" (rather than close inadvertently). A minor point, as you generally stand behind the tailgate to operate it, anyway, so you're right there to monitor the tailgate/door.
