Both of these guys are great teachers. It is encouraging to see if a great card master having to struggle a bit refining a move when it is new. Helps you not give up on a new move too early.

Everyone complaining that this is old footage but Im loving it. This move is one of the most useful sleights and is so powerful. You should be happy Alex is giving us these little tips to help you perfect it for free! Also you need to keep in mind Alex travels the world and Shin is performing everyday and they don't exactly have all the time in the world to meet up and shoot together to promote these new cards. So the next time you complain about someone posting old footage just think for a second, what contributions have you made to the magic community and how much content have you put out there? Cut the man a break he works hard...

Nahh he uploaded this because he's lazy af and want some ad revenue, stop kissing every single magician/youtuber's ass Max.
@toofz34325 жыл бұрын
Alex is giving good tips on the move,but the problem is these tips were already given on shins channel for free and he is re uploading the same footage from there to his channel and Alex says at the start of his video that he is going to L.A to film with shin and promote the cards so its not problem of time and Alex hasn't uploaded for a month it should give him plenty of time to upload a new video without re uploading old footage

If y’all read the description he straight says they filmed it for Shin Lims channel awhile back and since Alex was being asked for more tips on this slight, he figured he’d also post it on his channel! So STOP complaining about the repost!! I’m glad he posted it for his channel also!

Thanks Alex I purchased your DVD on the DPS as well and I thought it was well worth the money as love how you add bonus techniques doing it from an injog etc 😀👍

It is easier to swivel the card counterclockwise. The only problem is that the card gets stuck sandwiched between the two decks! But there are a few easy solutions (a cut, or a flourish) to take out each half of the deck separately.
@JohnSchildroth5 жыл бұрын
Thanks for this. I had gotten frustrated trying to learn the DPS because I was struggling with it not being obvious that a move was happening. I think these subtleties will help, especially the part about the pinky. Looks like it's time for me to start working on this move again.

I think it is hard for him because he not only has to break the bad habit of his mistakes since he learned the least effective DPS and so he has to break that while also learning the new method.

I wonder if there is a way to clean up the pack break flashing at 2:16 ? I would like the add the move is very fluid and awesome. I am no where close to knowing this actually only practiced it watching the video. lol I just want to mock the move but i noticed the break and wonder if it could be cleaned up, with practice or a bit of a better move, handling.

After hearing “When your pinky moves fourth finger and third finger also move” Shin is thinking “fuck that, mine won’t after 10 minutes!” in most all of my reading comments in regards to Shin, nobody seems to get the level of finger independence/dexterity he actually has... spoiler alert, he will NOT have trouble with this after the said amount of time, and this actually isn’t as difficult for him as he makes it sound 😂😂 Never underestimate a concert pianist’s hands....
