Thanks man , yeah unfortunately those composite diffs on the 3s cars just ain't up to the task at all . Well that means its time to upgrade hey 😂. You should do a few more lasernut videos bud

Hey Peter , Hope your well buddy . Thats good that you got something to watch mate ! glad your able to take the time to watch my videos . Yeah the big rock is of my all time favorites. The 3s ranges offers so much flexibility , shame about the diff but hey ho lol all in the name of science . Oh a HPI firestorm yeah i would really like one of those myself . Having said that the infraction 3s has caught my eye lately , just not sure i fancy wearing out tyres all the time lol . Stay safe there buddy and hope that the family is well Chris :)

Hi Chris's That's true about the tyres but I dare say if we shopped around someone somewhere might have a hard wearing tyre but then again we wouldn't just stick the car against a pavement and floor it. Peter

When you upgrade to 4s it seems to me that the spur and diffs are always the first to go soon after .

This is not the same truck that I started off with buddy But if you look at my playlists there is plenty of information on upgrading yours to 4s Basically changed the diffs , motor and esc and drive shafts

Ok I seen your videos I seen you have a 3s big rock I seen you change the motor to a 24 KV that's why I was asking you what else you needed to do I'm pretty sure you have to change the drive shafts and everything else that was just making sure that I have the same truck and I want to put it input I'm probably going to put a BLX 120 and just run it like that and upgrade stuff as it breaks I have metal diffs and metal gears

Did you notice when you hit the puddle it stripped the diff. That extra resistance and drag under throttle melted it. Watch it back and have a listen! 🦻🏻

@@ChriswithaCrc that will sort it!! Rear I presume? I cooked the rear diff on my Vorteks just full throttle pulling a wheelie with those Jetko wheels on and that was on 3s 15t pinion so easily done. I like the outcast v2 4s line because they come with all metal diffs / spur etc etc - makes them pretty unbreakable other than the chassis - which thanks to CRCU should be pretty solid now. @@ChriswithaCrc like both diffs, input gears, and upgrade to gpm drive shafts, basically whatsoever you can ads that is cnc steel upgrade do it, I had my rear diff only cnc for awhile and crazy enough it worked until I could afford the next, and yeah bro i like rc vids yours are pretty good, my channel is 541RC I do a lot of cheaper rcs and stuff, I do have a fireteam though I haven't posted a video in awhile because my mother passed away I just wasn't feeling it but here soon I'm gonna put up some more fireteam vids so, hope you get to check um out, Godspeed my friend 🙏
