this is great, really appreciate it. one question, I don't see Power Platforms in the left pane, and when I search for Power Bi, I get an error saying you can't use PB with personal account. I'm using the trial subscription.

Heads up people if you have a vpn on while setting this up it may affect the connection step, almost lost my mind. Switch off the vpn, refresh your credentials in azure data studio (un-add then re-add the account) close it, do this step again 07:51 and follow from there.

I had an issue where Azure Data Studio it wouldn't show me my database when trying to make a new connection. If this happens to you I solved it by deleting the cache files located at C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\azuredatastudio\Azure Accounts and then restarting Azure Data Studio.

Thanks a lot for leaving this comment. I had the same issue and this resolved it. Note for others with similar issue: the folder c:\Users\\AppData could be a hidden folder. Either search for it or unhide it by going to FileExplorer>View tab!
