On the power steering hoses I use a 90 degree hook pick to remove them I put it under the hose and go around the spout to free it and they usually come right off and on the hose clamps I use end snips they grab better and the clamp won't jump out on you and I blow the radiator off before going back on with it to make sure it can get air flow other than not blowing the radiator out you did good and I appreciate you detailing where all tge bolts was and the way you pulled it was tge same way I was going to do it I just like watching someone else because you might learn a trick or two thanks man maybe I shared a trick or two keep them coming for you enjoyed watching your video

I am going to try the same procedure on an SS (V8). Someone said I may need to remove the fans to get the added clearance to lean the radiator back due to the V8 pulleys, etc. setting further forward.

Hello, a quick test you can do, make sure the car is at operating temperature and turn the heat on, this will let you know if the blend door is working,if it doesn’t work you have to take the dashboard off hopefully that’s not the case because the front windshield has to be removed on the Camaro. Let me know

You should be under warranty check with your dealership if you haven’t already. That’s a strange problem because the A/C system and brake/throttle pedal are totally separated unless they have change something that I don’t know about. Sorry I can’t help with this one good luck buddy
@ndk42 жыл бұрын
@@AlexTheCarDoctor one dealership down, they said they found no issue or whatsoever. It’s hard because everyone’s different, i have no proof to say that they pedal is harder and softer as i change the temperature unless they feel it or have the courage to say so. One mechanic didn’t even want to have a look at my car, probably because he thought i was crazy. But no.. i do feel it. Is there anything available in the market to check pedal pressure/sensitivity and present them as numbers? It’s kinda hard sometimes to rely on human ‘feelings’

@AlexTheCarDoctor3 жыл бұрын
Bro how long have you been a technician? You may get away with replacing just the A/C drier and it may work, but what you fail to realize is the condenser have small Passageways that trap A/C Compressor fragments from your bad compressor that will eventually destroy your new system. So why just do the job on a maybe just do it right the first time. If it was about the money, I would not be teaching people how to do it themselves. Thanks for watching have a good one buddy.
