I had this same issue with my 2016 charger. Until I was able to have a professional look at it. I disconnected the battery and it turned the car off.

Remember when...people removed the neutral safety switch, I do. New cars to much electronic junk.

Hey so I came across this video yesterday when I was trying to find a fix for my car that wouldn't cut off. If you are having this problem and need to cut it off try pulling your fuel pump fuse that worked for me. The fix for me was shockingly my coolant. I had just replaced the water pump and ran only water in it to see if everything was together correctly. I had no clue this would cause the car not to turn off. Changed the coolant the next day and the problem was gone.

That’s pretty cool hopefully it holds him over for sometime while he waits for the new part. If I was him I would try another junk yard or a used parts warehouse like LKQ for one that is in better shape.

I think he’s gonna save up and order it from the dealership. They were on back order at the time, it was our only option.

you have to drop the column to do the column shifters unfortunately BUT the shifter is available on rockauto unloke the floor shifters

hey alex, my mechanic was working on my dodge charger 2013 SE v6, it has the same issue issue, we got a replacment for this part you showed in the video. however it did not resolve the issue. Now hes suggesting its an issue with the valvebody. what do you think?

What could be the reason? The car does not turn off the engine, I press stop and nothing, after the 3rd time the immobilizer is activated. Start button hundred replaced, new battery and batteries in the keys. Fiat Freemont

Good morning Alex! Is it possible that I can actuate ASD relay on 2003 DODGE CARAVAN SE 3.3 V6 using a jumper wire jumpering pin 30 & 87 to actuate the ASD relay? I'm trying to perform this test down below 👇 Turn the ignition off. Disconnect the ignition coil harness connector. Disconnect the fuel injector harness connector. Ignition on, engine not running. 👉With the DRBIII® scan tool, actuate the ASD Relay 👈. Using a 12-volt test light connected to ground, probe the (A142) ASD relay output circuit at the ignition coil harness connector and fuel injector harness connector. Does the test light illuminate brightly? If yes go to next step. If no, repair the excessive resistance or short to ground in the (A142) ASD relay output circuit.

Hey there buddy.the serial number is the vin number that is located in the front windshield driver side lower corner and it’s in the driver door,you can find it hidden on the body of the vehicle too
