Great work and perseverance. Looks great. I've got to take my Brera to a specialist to have new leather on my dash as my old one has shrunk due to the sun.

Hey man, when you took the sunroof control panel out, did you have to do a proxy alignment reset to get it to work again?

The unit works right away. Only it needs an alignment procedure to get it 100% closing and opening again (because it jumps to open a bit during disconnecting while removing and reinstalling the sunroof)

@@939driver Ah, I see. So by alignment you mean opening it all the way and closing it all the way. You didn't use a diagnostic device to reset the CAN bus system? I swapped my control panel out and now I have a bunch of faults including a non-operational sunroof.

@@johnbaker7899 No it just worked right away. I do have to follow the sun curtain initialisation steps on manualslib to align it when closed.

@@johnbaker7899 yes indeed. It remains open by like 5%. That needs a reset/alignment procedure. I think in your case it might be the units fault itself.

@@939driver Thanks. This video is really helpful. I just bought my Brera but it has the black headliner that is covered so I'm going to reupholster a beige one with skyview I have sourced. My concern is setting the airbags off. Do you have to disconnect the battery? Also I wanted to wire a dashcam rearview mirror in.. could you make a video of how you fitted/wired the dashcam? Thanks again for this video!
