Neil, since emailed last night Google'd 'alfa 156 remove hedlights' seams have to loosen the bumper and found your video Apparently a bad Xenon will bring on the Selespeed light intermittently, I have a noise very fogged up Nearside Xenon, now just to try ad get it out, on eBay a headlight is £40 but the Xenons are £399 used. Wild

@@malybboy Der Hilfsrahmen ist das erste was weggammelt , wenn man nix versiegelt hat ! Der Hilfsrahmen wird abgenommen und ein gebrauchter , unbeschädigter Hilfsrahmen wird eingebaut ! Was im Weg ist , mußt du halt aus den Weg nehmen ! Ich hatte bei Meinen Neuaufbauten von Meinen 156ern auch die Hilfsrahmen erneuert , war keine Dicke Sache . Es sollte mit Wagenheber , Werkzeug , GEHWEGPLATTEN (um den Hochgepumpten Wagen vorne , mit GEhwegplatten und einen Stück HOLZ abzustützen (ist sicherer , als ein Wagenheber) . Vorne beide Seiten hochpumpen und dann den Weg zu den Hilfsrahmen frei machen , bis Du ran kommst und es wechseln kannst . Ich habe das bei meinen V6ern gemacht , mit den 4zylinder Modell sollte es genug platz haben im motorraum , bei den 6zylindern wirds ENGER im Motorraum . Wenn Du Morgens beginnst und ROSTLÖSER hast und Werkzeug + Wagenheber+Gehwegplatten+Horlbalben , dann sollte es Mittags oder Nachmittags schon wieder zusammengesetzt sein . Die Frontstoßstange ist im Weg , also brauchst Du eventuell einen Schraubensatz für 156 Motorraum anbauteile , denn glaube Mir , der Hilfsrahmen ist erst verrottet , als es die Schrauben schon längst waren - Mit Rostlöser kannste die Schrauben eventuell Retten und wiederverwenden . Es kann zu einen Maraqthon ausarten , wenn die Schrauben sich nicht alle lösen lassen und wenn Du dabei bist , versiegel ALLES im Motorraum wo Rost zu finden ist (vorher blankes Blech machen ohne Rost und dann Versiegeln) Batterie könnte im Weg sein - Hilfsrahmen wechseln ist eine zeitaufwändige arbeit , aber sie ist leicht , wenn man vorher Rostlöser parat hat (am besten 2DOSEN)

Hintere Stoßstange ist leichter zu demontieren , weil die Verbindungen weniger rost haben . Im Kofferraum , hinter der Dämmung sind die Verschraubungen , sowie von UNTER dem Auto an den AUFNAHMEpunkten der schürze . es sind wieder 3 auf der rechten und linken Seite und ein paar Schrauben hinten . Keine Komplizierte Sache , allerdings würde Ich vorher Rostlöser auf ALLEN Schrauben geben , um sie ohne VERGNIEDELN gelöst zu bekommen . Torx Schrauben sind es ab Werk . Der Radkasten hinten ist eigentlich das komplizierte an der Heckstoßstange , man muß das Radhaus abschrauben , um an die INNEN liegenden Schrauben zu kommen , Ein Teil des Radhauses ist auch an der Stoßstange verschraubt - kreuzschrauben oder es war auch Torx .

Yeah I got the 2.5 auto in black with cream interior. I'm going to hang on to it because my version is rare in Australia and it holds its own parked next to more expensive luxury sports cars. Although it doesn't excel in any specific area it's a great car overall.

On my 05 version it supposedly had to have the bumper removed just to change a park globe. I got that done when it was in getting insurance work done after a kangaroo run into the side. One side of the back bumper needs a tighten up but I found a screw that won't tighten though probably not the only one.

Yeah on most modern cars you have to take the lights out to get to the globes and that means taking the bumper off to get the lights out.
