Well done, this is a hard job. Did you have to unbolt the steering rack to have access to the banjo bolt?

Hi, this was done by the workshop as i bought the pipe from them. So don’t need to do it myself but it was not that difficult as everything could be access from the bottom. Please subscribe if you have not, Thank you!

Hi, I have 2.2 and was having leaks with the pipe, I went to 1st garage and they fixed it but after short time still was leaking and did some dirty under the car, now another garage fixed it again and the fix looks stronger and they took less but he told me that if it doesn't hold then there might be a problem inside the pipe or it might be too old, my car is on 140k km and been put on the road since 2011 im not sure what oil been put but most likely not tutela tho its redish, should I try green? What would u recommend from ur experience?

Hi Clive, The power steering pipe is mostly metal. This is the high pressure pipe. Only small sections are rubber hoses. I would suggest you replace the whole thing as repairs may not hold. It costs me about $280 Singapore dollars. Please change to the green one which is the correct fluid. I am using pentosin CHF-11s. Now it is bought over by Fuchs. Hope this helps.
