I had the 3.2 lt Pro drive Still got very light at speed & was a bit of a boat. But Hay great looking car when it worked

Its not the 2.2 JTS Engine I think. I drive a 2.2 since two years.

I think we have 1.5 tons because we can only reduce the weight by about 50 kg.

Sorry for the late reply! Thank you! I was originally using a 159 3.2, but now I'm using a Brera 2.2 Selespeed! It sounds loud, but I use it as my normal foot lol. In brief, the specs are: ・Suspension: Aragosta TYPE-S ・Engine: Standard, oil cooler added ・Intake: BMC air cleaner, throttle body expansion ・Exhaust: Tech Art one-off muffler, equal length exhaust manifold ・Brakes: 3.2 knuckles & Brembo calipers, Endless pads ・Wheels: Advan RS (PCD98) 17 inch 8J.

@@daimos0521 thank you!! That's good info , there is already an oil cooler did you replace it or just add a new one? I have the same engine and i believe it runs better within 80/90 degrees .. above that even being in a safe range feels a bit under powered

The original oil cooler was water-cooled, so I removed it and replaced it with a large-capacity air-cooled type.

Haha... This is almost painful to watch. The brera is no good on a race track. It belongs on the road, where it is sure to turn heads. It's a shame about that kerb weight, though.

Thanks for your comment. The stylish Brera is best on public roads, isn't it? None of the recent Alfa Romeo lineups are suitable for racing courses. I'm riding it all the time, so I'm doing it without extreme tuning.

The Brera has a very stiff body, an almost perfect ratio of wheelbase to track width and sophisticated suspension. So I wouldn't say it is an inappropriate basis for a track tool. Surely it needs a lot of work and tweaks. The steering and handling is very good for drivers with little experience since it provides lots of feedback, precision and good controlability without to much understeer
