As someone who's only messed around with car electrics in my youth (several accessory additions to a Triumph Herald 13/60, blowing 50 amp fuses in the process, much to my father's amusement), I'm always gobsmacked by the skill and knowledge involved in these car restorations.

Put any car by the sea and this happens. My mates Alfa164 is over 30 years old. No rust to speak of. That is now a very nice 159. I nearly bought a 159 Ti but my 156 was my last Alfa as it happened

Why rubberized/bitumen based undercoating? In long term it will make it worse, cause sooner or later it will chip and get cracks. Better option is wax based undercoating, such as Dinitrol 4942. But great video as always. Keep up the good work!

Great work, but where there is a bushing that bolt needs to by tighten under cars weight otherwise bushing will rip inside in a couple of days. 👎

Powerflex last longer then standard rubber rubbish Iv run 2 cars on them had no issues and the bushes lasted longer then the car .If I. Could get them for my current car I would but they don’t make then unfortunately

Most important to do a regular underbody cleaning to remove salt and to check afterwards for damages. Also a treatment of all cavities are mandatory.

Love your vids but why oh why do all mechanics get in cars and pull seat belts and drive with dirty gloves on? Be ok if they cleaned the belt and steering wheel etc but they never do and you end up with crud on your shirt.
