Love the channel with your 4c. Algorithm brought me here since I watch all things Alfa 4C. Now subscribed. I was watching your seat adjustment video and now it’s gone. Did that adjustment resolve your clearance issue with your helmet?

That was a great baseline with the AR4C ( That's my nick name for the car now ) and it was great seeing in on track with the Shelby GT350R. I'm still trying to find the time to be able to do a track day with mine. I really want to see how I like it. I did look those tires up and unless they come in wider sizes not listed on Tire Rack they wont fit the fatty wide wheels on the GT350.

@@Wheelman81 I’ve been looking at track tires without wanting to go too nuts right at the start. Definitely lots of good options but the GT350 wheel size limits that. I’d also need a new set of wheels to go along with the tires so that’s why for now I’ll just run my current OEM wheels and tires that are on it before I decide to go all in on a track set up

All sorts of seat and harness options that will get rid of needing to brace yourself. Watch out - it is a big rabbit hole! I am running TIllett B5 seats with harnesses in my 4C. You will lose some leg room though, if you go with a harness, since you need a harness bar behind you, taking up precious room. Nice driving!

Are there a lot of options? I've literally only ever seen the Tillett B5 seats.

@@TheAllAmericanDriver Some folks on the 4C forum use Recaro seats. Rudi at GMS has a new Eltech seat setup he is running with his custom brackets. Lots of good info on the forum. Tillett B5 is pretty 'streetable'. There is a recent post/question from @YY4C asking about the B5 for track duty as well.

I have the same issue w/ bracing and the dead pedal on the 4C. For whatever reason, it seems that most of the 4Cs factory seats are set to the lowest hole in the front from the factory. That makes it so the seat has a downward rake that you have to fight, to keep from sliding forward out of the seat. My plan for next weekend is to pull the seats and put the seat in the highest position in front, lowest hole in back, and have the seat base angled back so that it keeps my butt in place better during hard cornering.

I remember when you got your B group wristband. Look at you all grown up. Man, ya went from The Ridge to The FIRM though. Must've been hard! Shout out to my buddy Matt Sprague when you see him in the DCT and V6 converted SW20 MR2 at the FIRM! Also, why are C8 drivers so bad? I just bought one, and I'm trying to put some respect on them at the track, in between transmission issues...

Get Castrol SRF Racing brake fluid, Brembo high performance pads, braided brake cables, and performance coil-overs. You will see a huge improvement by being able to brake later and harder.

Aside from the back, I think it looks good. Overall the C7 is a more balanced looking car though. C8 looks much better in person and in the right color combo.

The New C8 is basically Big Giant Pontiac Fiero GT..GM is the king of remixing products and selling them as something else..Some ppl will buy anything with Corvette Flags on it..🏁👍🏽🤦🏽

You've got a point...it looks just like all of those other countless midengine cars that are on the road! It's frustrating to be confused with a McLaren, Lamborghini, Ferrari, etc. Fortunately the ugly rear end and big CORVETTE lettering keeps it in check. What did you like better about the 4C when you drove them both @YourSinWillFindYouOut ?
