Did you know that they ran over 80 crash tests on the giulietta during development, before coming up with the final product. Then in 2010 it scored the maximum of 5 stars on the Euro NCAP crash tests and beat every car in its class, including the Golf and Focus , also the score was the highest in its class ever. They down graded it to 3 stars recently because it doesn't have some of the modern anti collision technologies, like lane assist, radar, blind spot warnings etc, etc.

Still a very nice looking car nearly 10 years on, the only criticism I found was the projector lights are poor so a upgrade light bulb is a must on them 👍

You've done a great job. Shame you can't save both but as you said if the blue one is in your opinion too far gone or dangerous to save then it's best providing parts for others

@@ItaliaAutos i think So but I'm living in Town, mosty drive in traffic.. So DPF issues for 100%. Also I'm not fan of diesel sound. Also I know about multi air unit issues but.. This must be price for having the Alfa 😁

Maybe insurer repairers have been tightened up on but in 2002 I had a god awful repair done by Zurich approved bodyshop......overspray city. Just poor attention to the detail.

I find Giulietta absolutely beautiful on the outside but never got convinced by the inside of that car. Also, my father in law had one as a company car. He got it with less then 5000 km milage, and used it for a year running more than 100 k. After that, the engine (2.0 jtdm) run away... I assume the oil.service intervals of 30kkm are to blame but nevertheless I wouldn't buy this car for myself

there not a true alfa but a fairly capable and reliable car.

That depends on what's under the bonnet. Diesel giuliettas are no suprise heavy on the front end, the best is the 170 bhp multiair petrol - fairly light unit and a good balance. The electric steering is numb and nasty on the giulietta unlike the Alfa GT. But the giulietta has a much better suspension and chassis, stiffer stronger and safer, also it does not have suspension that uses too many rubber bushes like the GT does, bushes made of cheese. The giulietta is more sensible and lacks the character of the GT, but technically speaking it is the better car and will last longer.
