Hi! Did the gauges still work for you after putting the cluster back in? For me some needles stopped moving. Do you know how to calibrate them?

Hello. It worked after I've put it back in without any calibrations. I am not aware of any procedures to "reset" the dials. I know it is obvious, but is worth double checking - the cables that connect to the instrument cluster have a locking mechanism to make sure they don't come undone while driving. It made it a bit hard both to disconnect and reconnect the cables because it requires some force to undo and lock it and at the same time looks fragile so I didn't want to overdo it. The first time I plugged back the cables I thought it was secured but it wasn't and had to be "convinced" a bit more. The other option is that there is an electrical/electronic issue (given that there is no mehcanical damage done to the dials). If you haven't disonnected the battery while removing and installing back the cluster it is worth disconnecting the negative terminal for 10 mins and see if does anything.

@@mushmurok6885 After a very long time of fiddling around, I managed to figure out what the problem with my dials was. During the removal of the needles, some of the gears inside the small motor behind the PCB got loose. I think this happens if you're not careful enough when removing the needles from the dial plates. I had to open those motors up to put the gears back in their places. Fortunately, after this nerve-racking job everything is working again. Consider yourself lucky that this did not happen to yours. Thanks anyway for your reply!
