KZbin blessed me with this dude back in 2018 I guess. That spring. Shit was hitting hard. Rethinking life. Had seen some shit and was kinda looking around my life at who was still there. Family. Potential would play and I would just break down in tears. Remember my dad saying don't take relationships with other people for granted, we don't have that long of a life, it's not something to waste. You and those around you will be gone some day, one day all the people you've ever known will be gone off the face of the earth and there will no longer be someone alive who interacted with you personally. All you will be is a memory. Which isn't so bad, but still, it kinda makes you feel like cherishing the people in your life who you tend to fall into a routine with

My first time hearin about this name! And at 3A.M., L.A. time, im happy i Have! What a jazzy treat! Gotta do a little Wikipedia check now! Hope theres somethin dope to it! I thought id heard the UK in the accent of the few speaking parts of this album, that ive heard so far. Somethin about THIS time of night!!! I think of my fatjer, who passed a couple years ago now. We'd jam here and there. Never knew how much id miss that!!! Never knew how muxh id miss that particular relationship!! We were close! Seemed all we did was get closer and closer, as those years went by. Man! Id owe him a thousand dollars now tho! We'd bet, before he passed, that our sitting president, at the time, would , or wouldnt get booked!!! He thought "yes"! I thought he was too high up on the "list", so they would give him a pass! I was wrong! As usual, when goin up against the old man!!😂 i miss him so much!! Im glad he got a chance to be happy that we had a new addition on the way to family! She's here now! Yea! She! Another girl!! And man!!! Is she STRONG! And GORGEOUS!! He woulda been just DELIGHTED to meet her! Shes DEFINITELY "one of us"!😂 My loving sister passed nearly a year after my fatber did tho. So things were hard for me, here on earth! But now i think i know why pops had to go! He'd have it no other way than it being HIM takin care of and watchin over his baby girl, my big sister!🙏🏿 Don't know what it is. But this album seems to have moved theu me!!! Great album! I am APPRECIATIVE for the hard work and dedication put into this project! Whatever it was! It hit my soul!! Made me think! Made me grab my guitar! Made me grab my pen! Woke me up again! Alpha Mist! My fave album of 2017. After being disappointed with current mainstream music, I discovered some great artists last year. Alfa Mist was one of them.
@mellobabey16684 жыл бұрын
Could you recommend me some? :)
@darkbluebossa4 жыл бұрын
@@mellobabey1668 Yes, sure. I will recommend several artists, some closer to Alfa Mist, some a little different, but all of them true musicians that make contemporary sound (not retro) First, Alfa Mist is part of a London jazz scene. He collaborates a lot with Yussef Dayes and Tom Misch (all of them have solo careers). There are some cool jams between them too. So, if you search for them on KZbin or Spotify, there are lots of things to enjoy. You probably know Esperanza Spalding, but she released a great album in 2016, I think. Called ´Emily D Evolution´. She is going into a Joni Mitchell direction, and in a more rock approach than before (mixed with jazz, course). There are some influences by Prince and P Funk too. A very rich album. Roy Hargrove died last year, but he has an amazing series of albums with a band called RH Factor. Modern funk. There are some guys that are very urban and mix hip hop elements with a jazzy vibe in USA. I recommend Robert Glasper, Thundercat and Mono Neon. Mono Neon has some cool instrumental jams with Ghost Note. And makes some funny videos too :P Other cool artists and bands are Cory Henry and Snarky Puppy. Knower is a VERY interesting duo. Louis Cole makes pop with strong musicianship. Search for their live version of ´Overtime´, for example. Gary Clark Jr is more blues based, with some rock, pop, rap influences. Amazing artist and great guitar player. He brings the psychedelia to blues and pop. If you want a piano player who sings smooth songs, Kandace Springs is great. And, last but not least, as a Prince fan, I know most people dont know some of his more interesting stuff. If you are curious for his instrumentals, check the album ´NEWS´ (4 instrumental tracks). His Montreux 2009 concert was cool because he had a small band and played guitar all the time. And ´Lotus Flow3r´ is probably his most guitar oriented album, with some psychedelic Hendrix influence. Well, all this stuff is on KZbin. If I remember another artist, I post here. Hope you enjoy, and if there is something you recommend, I am glad to check :-)

If you have some other music to recommend, with similar quality of picturing feelings, life situations, dark, night lonely celebrations of beautiful moments of life. Bicycling through the city at night, no cars, just me, listening to this on my speaker, yeah, like Miles Davis’s greatest albums. But I did not say anything. Just be like this, do like this, enjoy what you do. Your music feels life’s intimacy and detail.

I probably should’ve said, I’m creating “a” world rather than “this” world but there are elements from the music bleeding into what I’m creating, like the essence of the opening line in the first track, it’s molding my story. In the end it could end up looking something like what I feel from this music though, which would be great.

Love this album from start to finish. Its probably been a longtime since I enjoyed listening to a complete album. I can imagine listening to this relaxing jazz on cozy autumn day with a fire olace burning in the background. Truly lovely...

I fucking love it when you stumble across an "internet genre" music scene, like its a sound born out our collective cyber amnesia, nostalgia for times that never were, vague hints of shared experience that some of us can feel but never communicate

This is way, way beyond an "internet genre" of music. Reducing it to that is a diservice.

Oba, mais um som muito bom para escutar!!! Sempre me surpreendo com esses novos músicos de Jazz, misturando ritmos, de acordo com o tempo, a época. Talento, felizmente, nunca vai parar de nascer.

I'm not having the slightest of a good week. Crying over literally nothing, having so many depression problems, acceptance of sexuality, unable to make a move about anything, even if after two years of doing nothing I finally get the opportunity to enter college. And I'll probably let the inscription date pass. I am paralyzed. And now I arrive here, such a beautiful album, I hear the words from the start of the album, and I start to cry, so much. I'm crying like a baby of so much sadness. It hurts so much. And not even being able to cry properly, since I'd wake my family up. It just hurts.

Frédéric Ferland Thank you man, I really appreciate it. It may have helped, because I ended up doing the inscription, with the help and good pressure from friends too. It's good to not be alone in this world. Now I just gotta deal with the daily challenge of a student routine again, and get used to it.

King Jesus is real and His Truth frees us from the bondage of sin. We are so inherently narcissistic and have no moral compass! Pray to Real Jesus, not the Jesus of world religion, He will free you, I will pray for you!!

Breathe (Feat. Kaya Thomas-Dyke) Wait for me, destiny I said I'll try Just give me one more chance To prove (The) mountains I would move I hear you calling I'll wait for you And though the stars come out at night And shine till morning daylight The sun will still Numb us It warms our hearts, but still Must breathe through me Must breathe through me Come to me, sweet poetry I met you in a dream I saw you floating through the night Forget with all your might I have been calling Are you still there? And though the stars come out at night And shine till morning daylight The sun will still Numb us It warms our hearts, but still Must breathe through me Must breathe through me Note: I've put together these lyrics out of some the better written fan transcripts and fixes & edits of my own, seeing as I couldn't find any officially verified sources. A few things remain a bit uncertain, 'might' could be 'heart' instead and most noticeably, "must breathe through me" is transcribed as "you must breathe for me" in some places, and others argue it's 'mouth' instead of 'must'. The lyrics I've posted are, to me, the most accurate and most lyrically coherent, but if you happen to have an oficial source of them, for example a booklet from the physical releases of the album, please do reply and send me a picture or confirmation of their authenticity. Either way, I hope these are useful, and thanks for reading the comment all the way through ;P
