Charles thanks for turning me onto the Alfa OBD. Need help. Bought new fob on ebay (good price). However, in baseline programming Alfa says "FOBIK not blank". Anyway to fix this? 2013 2500 ST. Thanks

That's in the ECM not in the BCM if you have a 2015 - current the ECM is locked only way around that lock is to buy a unlocked one and have it programmed

Please help I have a 2018 ram 1500 sport i must have changed a setting trying to turn off the bulb out error for rear turn sinals, and now both my rear turn signals do not work at all. Do you know what setting in alpha obd i may have made a mistake with. I checked the wire with a amp reader it isnt even getting a signal all other blinkers (front and mirrors) work so it has to be some setting with the rear.

For some reason alpha will not let me save to Google drive. Says there is no data. Everything else works fine but can not view logs and can't download to Google drive. Is there something I'm doing wrong or missing?

I’ve read this can be used to change your mileage? I got a new gage cluster to upgrade to a Laramie cluster and the mileage on the new cluster is way off compared to my trucks original cluster. Can this be used to change

No, typically the seller will reprogram for you. Well, I haven't found a way in alfa anyway (or seen anyone else do it).

Yes you can change the mileage make sure you wright down the current mileage, idol time , drive time in some cases you will need your 4 pin # to make changes there's a video on how to do this with AlphaOBD or you can use chrysler pin puller app

I'll have to check when I plug in next, but only one will work. If you try the wrong one it won't connect. Might be trial and error.

If you have 2018 - current you will need the security bypass harness to do anything with AlphaOBD

Printing off your current settings from Google drive will definitely save you time instead of flip flopping through both apps so keep that in mind

I have a 2019 Classic and bought the 7" Evic cluster upgrade. My TPMS readings only show up as dashes "--" in the display. Can I fix this with AlphaOBD?

What were you trying to change or do? You can clear those errors yourself, but I'd try to figure out why they came on in the first place.

Did you do a car configuration change? You will have to do a proxy alignment. Let it fully complete, it may be slow.

If you just have a check engine light on you can go to any Autozone and have it checked for free or go buy a cheap Walmart or Autozone obd reader

Jeffrey Williams yes! It isn’t locked to one truck. Obviously some features that require a pin will require the specific pin for each truck from the dealer, but Alfa/obd isn’t locked to a vehicle.

See if you can find the logs on the tablet itself, if they aren't in the drive they must be on the tablet logs

@@chazpages I can see the fog dropout disabled in Alfa but when I upload the log so I have a running list of what I’ve done I don’t see the change in google and the new upload actuallly has the original date that I uploaded the virgin settings.

Hey Charles, I appreciate the vids I’ve seen thus far. Last night I took the Alfaobd for a test try and in doing so created several DTCs. I’ve found write ups on some people that had the same issue but for the sake of sharing after a tire size change I had, Service Trailer Brake, Service ABS, Service Electronic Throttle Control, and my speedometer did not work. I found a post on a random forum that said to run an ABS Initialization, which prompts you to run several other tests. I followed those steps but the ABS Initialization “Start” command was not available for me to press, it was greyed out. The other steps worked and that cleared the ABS light, TC light, and my speedometer came back online oh yea and my grid lines for my backup camera came back. The only fault left that is concerning to me is the Electronic Throttle Control. I’ve found a few other posts where guys reference it as a generic code but nonetheless I want to get rid of it. The only thing I did on the engine module last night was tried a Ram Air box actuator test. I didn’t change any settings. It’s worth noting that the ABS and TC lights have been intermittent before using the software. They’re part of why I got it. I already had the ABS module and HCU warrantied 3 years ago. It acts like it did when that happened. Of course the warranty for that is no longer in place hence the purchase of the OBDLink MX+ and Alfaobd software. I’m running a Fire Tablet HD 10 converted to an Android tablet after I saw your vid I thought that was a clean way to interact with all this, better than cables. My trucks a 2017 2500 6.7 4x4 Tradesmen w/ factory remote start. Sorry to dump all that info, just want to get rid of the ETC light. Seems like going into the various modules and deleting faults is worthwhile. I still don’t understand if the ABS Initialization or initiation whatever, was supposed to be available to “Start” or if that’s got to do with my ETC issue. Or perhaps since it’s a 17 I was in the wrong BCM all together since 2 are available? Anyhow am lost at the moment and searching wildly for a way to get rid of the new ETC light issue. Thanks!
