This is something I've been thinking about for a while! Justin Timberlake used to be the man aaaaaaand now he's not. Why? I thought about it for a while, researched his controversial moments, and here we are. (P.S. Man of the Woods was horrible)

Justin's character is just weak. It's evidence by the way he treated Janet, Britney, Prince, Michael Jackson and NSYNC. People are just now waking up to it. The first time I realized dude was off when when Ashton Kutcher punked him by repo'ing his vehicle and he (a wealthy grown man) started crying and calling his mom. Another song that I think is called Ghostin' kind of explains why she and Pete broke up- she still had Mac Miller on her mind. JT on the other hand just milks them after 10 years. @@delusionsofgrandeur1330 I think that the reason why he is sick of people bringing up Janet today is because it happened when he was basically a teenager, he's 40 now, and he's already apologized for not doing enough and said on TV that "america is too hard on women" in 2006. He probably didn't speak up about it earlier because he's a shy person who avoids drama, and he probably didn't feel that it was his fault because it was an accident. You should really blame all the radio stations and tv channels that blacklisted Janet, and the christians who were outraged about some boobs - don't blame it all on Justin. How would you feel if people kept bringing up an accident that happened when you were 20 years younger? And also, if it was planned, then Janet was in on it. Sooo... Either way, it's not Justin's fault. It's nobodies fault, except for the people who judged her for it.

Leli Dawi 💁🏻‍♂️ True but he had the chance to make things right when he most recently did the Super Bowl Half Time show by insisting they also include Janet .. unfortunately that didn’t happen, and I think it was a big missed opportunity. In fact media reports said that he promised his former band mates much more time on stage than they actually got on and they felt mislead and upset. That’s kinda my point - even when given the chance he continues to skirt doing the right thing and wants all the attention to himself ... and his crappy album still flopped hard

The reason no one likes Justin Timberlake is because he isn't trendy anymore. Celebrities don't have the same shelf life like they used to. Nowadays everyone gets famous quick but loses their fame to the next younger, trendier, hotter up and coming star. Well it's been this way forever but now it's happening at a much more accelerated pace. TL;DR People don't like Justin Timberlake because he's not viewed as trendy anymore because he's an old 90's early 2000's star.

The JANET JACKSON debacle turned off alot of people not only her fans & Jackson family fans but women and black people as well. And leaving Nsync behind in the dust affected the teen pop fans of the late 90's and 00's(there is a nostalgia market out there too) and lastly not working things out with Britney especially during her dark time affected the britney fanbase and the gays. So theres really no audience left !

Let's be honest, nsync wasn't going to survive forever. And I was a super fan. Posters, every album, concerts, etc. Boy bands only last as long as the teen girls who initially fell in love with them. They're lame to the newer generations coming in, and those who were once their teen fans grow out of being into boy bands. But yeah, there's nothing wrong with evolving or wanting something different for yourself. I don't get why people punish others for making decisions for the betterment of their own lives. Being shady, a manipulator or a user is not okay, so if those things are involved in people's "changes" of course that's wrong. But do we really know the circumstances of the band's split? Was there any wrong doing? Did the other band members even take it personally? Or is it just fans making presumptions...idk. It just bothers me when, for example, a band is attacked for going a different direction musically, or an athlete for changing teams, as if all their decisions should be approved by the masses. We get to live for ourselves, why can't famous people?

Apparently, NSYNC agreed and was supposed to make another album after “Justified”, however, he just bounced and ditched them. Joey Fatone talks more about this on Jenny McCarthy’s podcast. He said he and the group didn’t mind if JT wanted to continue on with his solo career but it would’ve been nice if he told the other guys, so they could’ve picked up other projects. They didn’t bc they thought he was going to come back to do the NSYNC album...so basically Jt lead them on or was a coward not to tell them. I also find him arrogant - like he was doing NSYNC a favor by adding them to his JT VMA Tribute. He knew people would love it and watch, which was why it was the only reason he invited them to perform. I think people are just over JT and want NSYNC back... and he does not like that.

JC was a zillion times more talented than narcissist Justin whom I can’t stand. He backstabbed the whole team, back in the day, working on his music secretly and delaying the band’s regrouping mostly, I suspect, in an attempt to eliminate any competition from a talented peer like JC. And when JC put out his debut album, he had a long hand in sabotaging his career along with Jive records by orchestrating a public humiliation of JC at NFL’s Prebowl. Not only that but he also stole the feel of many of the songs of JC’s solo album when developing his second album. I’m glad to learn that his career is now stalling; not much of a loss. I’m still keen to hear more from JC though. That man can sing and it was evident from *NSYNC‘s stint with Ariana Grande that the band could do very well without Justin or Justin’s weak voice.

Justin has some good pop music, thanks in large part to Timbaland and his proteges, but it was only a matter of time before his fakeness and douchebaggery was exposed. I'll never forget he and his wedding guests laughing at and making fun of homeless people. I think the constant MJ comparisons in his youth (which were kind of unwarranted because dude's skills are only slightly above average) got to his head and he thought he would forever be invincible, especially after he skated away from that 2004 halftime controversy and was allowed to continue to flourish while the legendary Janet Jackson was blackballed for several years. And we haven't gotten into what he did to Britney while they were dating and after they broke up. He spins everything in his favor, especially when against women. I fear what'll happen to Jessica Biel after they get divorced (it's only a matter of time).

I’m sure you get your news from twitter but you all have no idea what you’re talking about, just following the trend of hating on someone which seems to be all anyone does these days. 1. Britney cheated on Justin, he was asked about her during her shaving her head days and he stood up for her! But Britney fans are delusional, think jt still talks about her?she literally just posted a video of her dancing to a jt song...yes cry me a river was about Britney. So? Why do we praise women for writing/speaking when they’re done wrong but trash men for it?2. If you did actual research you would know Janet begged jt to join at Super Bowl but he was on tour so could only rehearse last minute. She had asked producers if he could rip a skirt off of her at the end and was told no!so she hid the bra rip off from everyone and jt didn’t know.he has just started his solo career and this could have really hurt him if anything Janet should apologize to it but again he has multiple times been the bigger person and stood up for her!!3. Prince and jt had a friendly/joking competition with each other. Multiple friends of prince have said this including quest love. Jt even DJ’ed for one of princes parties the year before he died. This whole jt hate is ridiculous. Chris brown didn’t even get this much hate and BEAT THE SHIT OUT RIHANNA so pls tell me why the hell that is not a big deal when all this crap apparently is??? Hmmmm

and what has Timberlakes downfall to do with the Kardashians? also they may appear talentless.. but to me they seem to have a pretty big talent in making money, doing business and staying on top of the game for over a decade now.. sooooooo... yeah.. i guess that says it all..i understand that u don't wanna watch them and u don't like them.. but id rather binge watch all kuwtk seasons then listen to this crap pile of a man in the woods Timberlake album one time.. :) to each their own..

Mario Miguel Scharer But now Bruno has fully embraced the urban R&B and funk. Black pioneered sound gone mainstream..sound familiar. That was Justin’s whole bag.

But Bruno Mars has always done urban music. Just because YOU weren’t paying attention doesn’t negate facts.... the fact is Bruno Mars has always made urban r&b music. He wrote almost all of CeeLo greens hits... years ago.. I’m sorry that you’re late to the party that isn’t his fault. Catch up

Justin went from a cool white boy that black people liked to revealing he’s just a privileged white dude that is tasteless. If he had the balls and not the entitlement to stand up for Janet that would’ve separated him from most white artists that take from black culture, make profit and then go back to being white. But he did just that. I won’t be surprised if he seeks Timbaland and probably apologize Janet (if he ever does) right before he releases a new album.

He also refused to have guests during his half time show. He had every right to but if you’re going to buck traditional and skip the big superstar guests your show better be so AMAZING that we don’t miss it.....we did. He also squandered the opportunity for some easy positive headlines and some public goodwill by not bringing out people like Britney, Janet, or even N’sync. Imagine the coverage if Britney or Janet (or Both) 😱 popped up from underneath the stage. Look at Beyoncé, she was on top of the world when she was asked to perform the Super Bowl and her set was killer! She didn’t need to include Destiny’s Child but how much cooler did it make her and the set look by sharing her spotlight with them!

Who cares. He did his stuff back in the day, and made his money. Everyone had their time, Jackson, Prince, Stevie W.....JT has been around for over 20 yrs and he did some half decent acting. Good for him. Now he can enjoy his middle age and family and he probably could not care less about what people think.

Also, the lies and shade he threw at Britney when he knew what she was going through during her 13 years of conservatorship...not really any apology that was of any substance to her or Janet. Just look at the Diane Sawyer interview with Britney on KZbin where Diane is pointing all fingers at Britney, accusing her of hurting him---gimme a break; you know he lapped that up and manipulated the media with that crap story. He even cheated on his wife, Jessica Biel... a loser through and through. He's a whiny, shallow punk, isn't relevant, and hides from the damage his lies caused, so he doesn't mean much to many people anymore. One's character speaks loud and clear regardless of whatever hits you have had - including when he disrespected his former bandmates, NSYNC - especially Lance Bass. That would be different if he were sincere to the people he trashed and made himself accountable. It was good he sold his song catalog for a million bucks; I think he needs the money for an early retirement.

@Elisa Castro Self-inflicted? I see that you're a self-indulging, delusional pink person. There's nothing wrong with you all stealing our culture? Don't make me run down all the atrocities your wicked ancestors have done, to put my people in the conditions they are in. We don't expect you all to fix anything for us...our Father is working on that...you need to be worried about fixing your own mess and stay out of ours...How bout that.

One word sums it up... CORNY. He became way too corny where he used to be taken serious as a musician. Girls dont think corny is sexy either. The past 2 to 3 years his image has really taken a nose dive and both his image and music became really corny. It also seems like he lost a lot of the passion that made him such a good live performer. Corny, man. Just corny.
