at milsim west games players can choose to participate as the blank fire role, blank fire while at face value might sound silly being that there is no projectile, but it actually brings multiple positive benefits to the game, aside from the immersion aspect, players are required to “react” or “take cover” when receiving blank fire, due to the limited range of airsoft (roughly 300ft max) blank fire allows for an additional gameplay dynamic where players are forced to do something beyond the traditional bb ranges, ie when you have the awkward “too far for bb range but close enough to stand in the open and do nothing” moment which is in my opinion where airsoft really starts to show its limitations and the immersion breaks down, it can be pretty cool when done properly

@5thgajones69816 күн бұрын
You have to react to blanks. Either by running, looking for cover or dying. Calling blankfire is more of a curiosity thing.
