I definitely understand the frustration many feel watching this, but here are two guys who love film and who want to talk to each other about it! The "mistake" (I use that loosely) here is putting these two in the same room! Obviously if it had just been Cuaron or if it had just been Pawlikowski they'd talk about why they chose the films they chose, I don't blame them for getting excited over being in that room and ignoring the camera/'rules' haha.
@hlcepeda5 жыл бұрын
Perhaps it wasn't made clear that they were there to -- in essence -- offer great 'alternative' viewing for us, the audience, and not simply to shopping-spree through! 😁 Whatever the case there, the Andre Gregory/Wallace Shawn was just a little less frustrating for me and so unfortunate; their extensive one-on-one non-closet pick conversations got to be too much. I quickly veered over to Mike Leigh for enjoyably direct references to what he picked out.
