Luxury INDIA DINING | Rs 5000 dinner, was it worth it?

Hey guys!
We've tried alot of Street food in Delhi and Mumbai, and we realized we haven't even gone to a nice restaurant! So today we are taking you to Tanantan on Juhu Beach in Mumbai India, and omg... I had THE BEST Butter chicken in my LIFE. As we edit this video, im so sad I do not have this food sitting infont of me lol. Let me know what you think of the food and if it was worth the price!! Can you get street food with the same quality as this?

Bade Miyan - Late night place - is open till 3 am or so (area - near Taj hotel & the Gate way of India in Mumbai)* A late night place, patrons eat in their cars, but has a seating area as well. Famous for their wraps, Tikkas, Tandooris & barbecued stuff. *2. Leopold Cafe (area - Colaba causeway in Mumbai)* - Nice beer, barbecues, nice desserts. *3. Pancham Puriwala - (area - fort in Mumbai)* - 5 types of puris(bread), savory dishes & desserts. *4. Britannia & co. restaurant - (area - Ballard estate, Fort in Mumbai)* Famous for its Irani / Parsi cuisine. Awesome Desserts & Sodas. *5. Mohammed Ali road - (Area - CST - 6 pm onwards till late night)* The whole street is filled with street vendors who sell various non-vegetarian stuff and some vegetarian too. Plus, there are some really nice restaurants on the same street. Try the famous dessert that you get only on this street in a sweet shop. The dessert is called Aflatoon.

Really love you guys enjoying Indian meals. Tanatan is a very popular place since past couple of years since it opened. I love their Dahi palak kabab in the vegetarian option, but my favorite is mutton pepper fry in the non-vegetarian starters. You ordered their best entree. Thier methi mutton is very good. Methi is "Fenugreek leaves" which is a touch bitter but when cooked right, it tastes amazing. Their matka saraon (mustard leaves) murgh (chicken) and laal maas (red goat meat curry - a speciality of Rajasthan) is also very good. Do let us know where you are headed next so that some recommendations can be provided. Enjoy!

Methi is called Fenugreek in English. U can buy dried Fenugreek leaves anywhere in USA/ Canada ( at any indian/ Pakistani store). There it is called kasturi methi. I know u already hv it in your spice rack since I saw u buy it last yr for your Indian dishes home cooking. In India u hv to try "kakori kabab" and "gulauti kebab", both mutton based ones. U will forget all other kind.

The price is extremely reasonable for a fine restaurant in Mumbai. The Mithi mutton looked the best…lots of meat for only Rs 800…$10 🇺🇸….that much will be 39$ in a fine New York restaurant.

Just 4 days before had dinner in Tanatan and it's Methi (May-Thee). The Dessert was Rabri Gulab Jamun i love it. Hey, Jessica why don't you try some Maharashtrian food. Mumbai is famous for it's Maharashtrian food. Try Konkani, Malvani and Agri seafoods and their chicken and mutton (Meat) dishes too.
