Birdland
By Joe Zawinul / arr. Victor López
Item: 00-36046
Series: Jazz Band
Grade 3
Ensemble: Jazz Ensemble
Format: Conductor Score & Parts
A 1970s jazz staple with solo space (written) for alto 1 and/or trumpet 2, nice chord voicings throughout, and the lead trumpet top note to only a written G on top of the staff. Effortless to assemble and perform! (4:02)

Does anyone know what the drummer has to do to produce that almost clicking sound in the intro? I'm trying to write a song with absolutely no knowledge of drum sets and THAT'S what I want
4 жыл бұрын
it might also be a cross stick thing on the snare. which could be notated as CS. Im not a drummer, but I am a composer. A drummer might come on here with a better response, if so, listen to them.
