Question?? i bought a Mongoose Legion 500 recently and the spokes seem a little loose and wen i ride it the front wheel is making a funny noise (spokes make a pingin noise), my Mongoose Pro XL the spokes are AMAZING just so strong.. strange that the cheaper BMX is built way stronger.. any Tips as to what i do with the Legion 500 as its driving me Nuts (as its such a nice bike)

Yo, have you tried tightening up those spokes a quarter turn? Check on youtube, there's some good videos on this. I think a spoke key tool is less than 10$

There’s a even better way of keeping surface rust off of Crome & metal bike parts , buff all of them with a buffing wheel using Red Rouge , clean off the rouge & make sure you get it all cleaned off very good , then with a new buffing wheel buff all of your parts out with ZAM & clean all the ZAM off very good, Don’t leave any on any of your parts or your bike & you,ll never have surface rust on your bike again , it impregnates the metals with both buffing compounds & all you,ll have to do is use water on a towel & your good .i do this very thing to all my new bikes lightly of corse before I put any parts on my bikes or I,ll do this before I put my bikes together & very old school like back in the early 70s rider showed me this & it keeps your bike looking showroom fresh & all sparkly & it takes off any access oils & keeps them off .

I had a redline pro line in like 97-98. It was one of my favorite bikes cause it weighed nothing! Got stolen, just like every other bike I owned as a kid. That was part of life in the late 80s and 90s! 🤬

Yo can you guys make a video on how to replace the rear freehwheel on a bmx bike? I swapped sprockets yesterday from a 25t to a 28t and i recently watched your video that if i run a 28t then i need a 10 tooth freewheel. im currently running a 9. Bikes a 2014 Salt. it was voted the fastest and lightest bike of that year. Jus tryna keep it alive cause it was my very first actual BMX bike i ever purchased. I've owned it since 2016. Edit: I Just came across y'alls channel and I been watching the vids like crazy. Keep them coming cause I'm 1 viewer you can count on to watch your content! :D

Hello My names Luke. Im from Buffalo NY. We have a local shop that supportive in parts repair and aftermarket. By all means best to support the local. But me a novice wheel Builder. sourcing what hubs and rims I can new or second hand. Building wheels 12' to 29' it is always nice to save money. In your instance of reuse and relace. You seemed to be certain that you could reuse the spokes. What I would enjoy to see. if applicable. maybe a method you or coworkers have to relacing wheels. Not a tutorial of how to lace. But insight to. "do i measure my old rims ERD to match it to a new corresponding rim." or "is it necessary that spoke length matters." " do you the shop owner have a master bible of measuring spokes to a new rim?" Most hubs and rims all slightly differ in ERD and and hub flanges. Maybe talk any knowledge about spokes you know differentiate them characteristic, corresponding nipples to use. The spoke cutter and threader is a great tool many dont have. It would be interesting to see and hear more of it and past techniques you learned some you like some that shouldn't be used while measuring rims or cutting / selecting spokes. or when to and not to reuse a rim/hub/nip/or spokes. Maybe in this case you could wait until a customer bring in wheels they'd like redone. With either a new hub/rim/spokes. this could be a really long informational video that might be a bit much to cover ant once. In all Its a bicycle wheel, to some it a work of art others its just an advantage to life.
