Never got to see her, great video of it! Next time you go to the welland I might have to try and go too, it looks too cool to pass up with how close you are to the boats!

Looks like i opened YT just at the perfect time. Sweet video of the Transport. It's a shame her working life is over, but hauling salt is hard on a ship. ✌️✌️

Back in the day, and I was on vacation in Sault Ste Marie, Michigan. I was on a Soo Locks Tour Boat and after locking through the Poe Lock. The Soo Locks Tour Boat was sailing Upbound towards the Algoma Steel Plant in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario. I remember when, this Freighter was named Canadian Transport, and sailing in Upper Lakes Shipping Limited Colors. I,took,Four Pictures of the Canadian Transport unloading ore at the Algoma Steel Plant. And, to this very day and I still have the Four Pictures of the Canadian Transport in my Photo Album and I will still keep them. The Canadian /Algoma Transport will be missed 😢 . I took the Four Pictures in 1995. 4:08
