That's funny. A few years back my Dad and I got yapping and not paying attention after that same portage and headed the wrong way. It got to the point we're thinking damn we should be at Lower Spec by now, hell we should be past it by now. Oh well shit happens. Never done the portage you'll take getting out so look forward to seeing what that "4 digit" beasty is like. CHEERS!

Yeah, we were tapping away talking about 2022 trip plans. We also were getting that inkling we were headed in the wrong direction, and the portage sign confirmed. Oh well, nice little creek! Spoiler alert, that portage sucked, especially hung over!

In the section with the portage with the swamp in the middle?

@@SingleMaltAndMaps Yeah we paddled way into the swamp and missed the portage sign on the right hand side and had to double back. I think it was the beginning of the portage your talking about.

@@knoxonwoods5636 we actually passed a couple paddling in the swamp when we were on it. Seemed like a weird place to run into people at the time
