Recommended roll-and-writes? On the lighter end: Ganz Schön Clever, Cartographers (technically a flip-and-write), Corinth, Silver & Gold. On the heavier end: Fleet The Dice Game, Rome & Roll, La Granja No Siesta, Kokoro. These will keep you happily rolling and writing for years.

I would suggest Hadrian's wall for heavy, and Rajas of the Ganges Dice Charmers and Troyes Dice

Yeah... this game is a pass for me. I have around 30 roll/flip and writes in my game collection. Just picked up Escape Roll and Write, Rajas Dice Charmers, Bravo, and Biblios Quill and Parchment. Nice little fillers. :)

I can't believe this is a full priced release. Corinth is a free PnP and lightyears better than this.

this doesnt feel like alhambra at all. the gameplay doesnt relate to its original.

Really? I thought it is exactly like Alhambra. In both games you either build a building or take money. In both games the scoring is the same with the color majorities. The main problem with the game that it is too much like Alhambra.

I agree, to me it doesn't seem like it would feel the same as playing the original. There, the available building tiles and coin cards keep changing, and that is what keeps the game light but fun. This just seems like two check lists that you need to fill out.
