for the money i think you did well the middle bag at the back does it obsrcure the tail light or was it just the camera angle that gave that impression great looking go anywhere bike ps the gs stickers look good and the petrol tank filler cap looked ok as well

Thanks for the comments - Rear bag didn't seem to have any impact on the rear light once it's full of stuff 😁

I fitted the three bag set but the rear one under the rack prevented my top box going back into place so got binned. The side ones are great for the things you rarely need but then you do, cable lock for lids, puncture kit, multi tool etc.

Other than the radiator guard’s what a load of junk…….but we all do it especially at this time of year 😂 beware frame bungs become water traps so treat area with a anti corrosion treatment before fitting them.

I did the same on my new gs , grip puppies china ok for a week. Black screen for about 30 € protectors good hugger too good for the money 👍

I’ve looked at a GS on and off so I suspect it’s inevitable that I own one at some point and while I like the 1300, the 1250 seems to be the best model. How do you find it compared to the Multistradas that you have had previously?

I love a bit of Ali Express kit. There's some stuff I wouldn't buy from them (ie wheels) as you can't guarantee the quality. I must be getting old but some of the price of stuff from Nippy Norms etc seem way over priced.

Well said, the asking prices at BMW or NN or indeed Wunderlich is bloody insane! when it's just a bit of cosmetic bolt on plastic!

The crash bar are swing arm protectors are crap I've dropped my bike twice I had cheap china protectors on thinking the same, wow they look the same as the dear ones and they have with to them. Yes they do but the material used is not the same, first time it fell over it smashed the crash bar protector and marked all the bar and the same happen with the swing arm they just broke apart on contact. So I then brought the wonderlich crash bar protectors and swing arm protectors when I dropped the bike the protectors stayed as 1 piece and only marked the protectors which you could not even see. So when it come to these cheap crash bar / swing arm or fork protectors they are cheap for a reason and the protection is not there, buy cheap pay twice. I've also heard the bungs fall out as the rubber and fit is not very good lots of reviews on places like ebay etc about how bad they are.

Thanks for the comments, these engine bungs are still in place and haven't moved in 6 Months now, luckly I hsaven't had to test the shaft protector as yet though, for my mind these kind of things are fine for a static drop, but no..... I wouldn't really expect them hold out that well in a real crash!

if you can't afford genuine parts, then you can't afford the bike in the first place. Putting that stuff on will see you banished from dealer support.

I'm not sure a dealer would give a toss about a couple of aftermarket bolt on parts?, and the reason why some of us use Ali Express is simply due to the rediculous prices for the same items (although sometimes better quality) that we would need to pat at BMW or others. My rule of thumb for Ali Express is never order anything for over £50. You will get more bargains than stuff that goes straight in the bin, but risking larger amounts? Best not.

Yes agreed, I've seen some exhausts on there which look great, but check the comments.... And you'll see people complaining about fitment and quaility! Thanks for the comments 😁

Simply as these are bolt on parts that a child should be able to fit? showing my fitting them all would have added around another 30 mins to the video! if someone couldn't fit a fuel cap protector.... maybe they should get a garage to fit everything 😉

@ you’ve completely missed the point…. This is KZbin. A VISUAL medium. You may as well have made a podcast and described the stuff you bought. It’s not a matter of how easy it is to fit. People like to see HOW it fits. The process.
