I recall interview with Pat Buchanan after he did his Ali G interview, said he got a call and was told the BBC wanted to interview him. When they were setting up, he assumed a man dressed in a suit, looking all the part would be the interviewer. He thought Ali G was part of the crew. Then as soon as it was time to start, boom role swap, surprise. No one called and suggested Ali G was the interviewer. By the time the interview starts, too late to turn back and just roll with it.
