It’s so funny to me how her books are so progressive and feminist, with women in STEM, and then you have the hulking man with a tiny woman trope, like those do not feel like they should go together. I read it awhile ago but I remember loving To All The Boys. The characters were more fleshed out and made sense. They had personalities outside of the romance. Honestly Lara Jean has such a cozy character and her coming of age felt much more realistic. She talks about being part Korean, about her mom dying and her dad eventually moving on and about getting rejections for college.
