Ashamed to say I haven't seen Beef yet - but now I will. I first saw Ali Wong doing standup in a basement theater at the UCB in NYC back in 2009. I've loved watching her stand up over the years and watch her career grow. Congrats to her! She's phenomenal.

I recommend doing so! A memorable, off the rails show that depicts the Asian community’s stigma around mental health and how much mental health matters overall. It left a sincere impression on my girlfriend and I, who personally experienced the stigma surrounding mental health in both of our Asian households.

Regardless if you want to acknowledge youre the first Asian to win, you in fact ARE and Its okay to embrace your cultural achievements on national stage. Whats up with the skiddish responses? Weird.
