i launched my first course right around 2 years ago, and recently cleared the 7 figures in sales mark. you did a great job on this video, i watched the whole thing. its possible i missed it, but if it wasnt covered - i think the 1 thing you did not point out is that people will buy your course to have access to YOU. they like YOUR teaching style, YOUR perspective, YOUR free content - so it doesn't matter if you have 400 competitors on courses of the same topic. If they like YOU, they will purchase YOUR course even if your competitors are more of "experts" than you are. you did touch on this with the video editing - but somebody who is too much of an expert wont be relatable at all to a beginner - which then ties into what i was saying above. Being relatable to your target audience / potential customer is huge.

I spent 4 years of my life trying hundreds of custom ROMs on Samsung phones since I was 9 years old and I gained very deep experience in terms of modifying Android (installing custom ROMs, recoveries, kernels, and optimising the phone for daily use ifit is ancient, etc) on all the generations of Samsung with all kinds of CPUs, and I am thinking about making a course about this. But I see this information as already available on KZbin and in two months, you could learn 95% of what I learned by practise and following tutorials. Should I make a course about these stuff? And I am thinking of collaborating with famous rom builders too. Do you see this as valuable? But I see people already knowing these stuffs...

It’s way too late to get into course-making now because every conceivable online course is already out there and thousands of people will always go for the most popular course creators. If I started a guitar course I’d never gain traction because the guitarists course mentioned in this video already has major traction. It’s like choosing between eBay and eBid - most people will always choose the beginner / most popular which is eBay.
