I’ve never been able to find a bronzer in the correct color until someone at Sephoria suggested Huda Beauty Tantour Contour and Bronzer In the color Light. It was very easy for me to learn to apply and looked beautiful on my skin. I apply a bit of powder on top to set it and it lasts all day and looks beautiful. the Guerlain Terracotta Light is the only bronzing powder I've ever owned and the only one I'll ever use 🧡 (plus, as an Italian woman, I love that it has an Italian name! the word "terracotta" - which sounds a bit different than the way the French say it - literally means "fired soil" and it describes a type of unglazed, brownish-red ceramic 😊 ) Andreea, you always have the best, best advice in store for us, your taste is impeccable

I love the Butter bronzer by Physicians. It is the perfect one for me. It gives me such a sun kissed healthy glow I often bypass blush (I have a med-tan complexion) and I use my Hourglass ambient palette as finishing powder more than bronzing and it makes my face look flawless.

I’m a bronzer junkie. I’m so obsessed and avid collector to try on different colors. Yes the hourglass one is amazing. I own the blush palette and the bronzer and all over highlight glow. It’s so seamless to wear. I wear it over my matte bronzer after I sculpt my face. It does wonders. Sometimes I use the trio bronzer as well over my matte for the shimmer sun kissed finish.

TheBalm's Take home the bronze is fabulous for olive skin tones! I have the colour Olivier (the lightest) and I love it. It's a mat bronzer. The bronzer in Cali palette by Smashbox work nice as well (satin finish). Fenty powder bronzer in Inda Sun is fine when I am at my lightest in the winter (around NC15), otherwise it won't show much (mat/satin finish). ArtDeco's summer limited editions also usually work well, as they imitate that sunkissed olive skin tone, and by that do not clash with my greenish coloration underneath (satin/glow finish, some have subtle highlight effect).

So glad someone FINALLY saying it, bronzer isn’t contour and so many people use bronzer like that in tutorials. I use Charlotte T in 3 and Anastasia in Mahogany. When I want it to be undetectable I use CT when I want it to be ever so slight I use Ana. I don’t like an obvious look so I don’t go that dark.

I am a 57-year-old woman who had oily, cystic acne-prone skin. Now at turning 57 recently, my skin is becoming dry and saggy. All the products that worked before no longer do. I appreciated one of your videos where you mentioned the Saie cream bronzer, which is amazing!! I can no longer where highlighter, because it makes me look old and artificial, and I find the Saie bronzer gives a nice natural, healthy glow. I also, cannot wear contour anymore and eye shadow just flakes off my eye once oily eyelids. Primer seems to make it worse. I also, don’t like tight lining as it makes my eyes look smaller. It’s kinda ironic that for years I have been going with lighter eyeliner and smudging it close to my eyelashes. I was a grip in the film industry, so trying to fit in with the guys I never wore much makeup and prefer a natural look anyway. If anyone has any natural shadows for dry eyelids let me know. Also, for years…like since the 90’s I used drugstore clear mascara to put my brows in place and my eyelashes. I wish someone would come up with a castor oil product like that. I’m not a huge fan of mascara because it always runs on me, as I have chronic watery eyes. Anyway, thanks for the great videos. I also love the Bounce skin tint, it’s the only thing I can use at my age and looks great.

I adore the Too Faced "Sun Bunny" bronzer that comes with a split pan, one side lighter and one darker. It has a bit of radiant glow, but it's not sparkly or shimmery. And yes, I use it on my eyes too, the two tones are perfect to swipe a wash of light over my lids and deepen the crease "just so" with the deeper shade. (For reference, I have light-medium skin with a subtle olive undertone: MAC NC30, Estee Lauder DW Rattan, Maybelline Matte and Poreless 128 Warm Nude). Sun Bunny gives me a sun-kissed look without looking like I swiped two stripes of wet clay on my face.

@@producer1235 In that case, you need a much cooler-toned bronzer OR a contour product, which tends to be gray, with only a hint of warmth, or even a cool brown eyeshadow to lightly swipe across your skin. Try Rare Beauty Bronzer Stick in Happy Sol or Bright Side, Hourglass Ambient Lighting Bronzer in Nude Bronze LIGHT, NYX Buttermelt Powder Bronzer in Butta Cup or Butta Biscuit, Fenty Beauty Inda Sun, Victoria Beckham Mate Brick #2.

@Missy Scarborough first to be able to choose right colours for you in makeup, you need to figure out what tone your skin is, is it cool toned, warm toned or neutral? (this last one is kinda rare, or warm or cool). Only skin! Hair colour and eye colour can mislead! So you choose foundation, bronzer, blush and lip products based on that. For the eyes you can be more free 😊😉 I would suggest to look into the "season colour analysis/theory" , it does change women to dress and do makeup to emphasise born with colours to look together and harmonic😊 check Audrey Coyne's Color Theory For Beginners here on KZbin. Hope I could help. 😊

I felt like you for a long time and even today I rarely wear it. It's just not part of my every day look. But I will say that what made a difference in the way bronzer looks on me is the finish it gives. I dont like matte, flat bronzers. To me that is not natural looking. Try one with a glow and more golden vs dirt brown. The Wet n Wild bronzer in sunset striptease is a really nice one to practice with and it's only 5 dollars.

i agree with you. sometimes bronzer looks lovely on me, but sometimes it can just make my face look ruddy. i looked for a cooler bronzer, and that really helped. also being more precise with my application seemed to help. the proper brush can make all the difference, too!

Has happened the same to me, but I also change the way I apply it, instead of load the brush and rub my face, now I just apply a little bit, prime the bristles of my brush and very gently apply it on my face, believe me it looks flawless and airbrushed

I felt the same until I found the right shade. I feel like 90% of finding a good bronzer is not formula but simply right shade. I needed a Red undertone bronzer didn’t realize that for long time

I’ve used the Nars Laguna liquid bronzer to adjust foundation colours when I’m on holiday and getting more tanned.

This is the best liquid bronzer EVER. I love it to dead. Can't believe it isn't more popular. (The powder is good, but hate how nars blushes and bronzers tend to be very delicate and break easily)

I love the Hourglass ambient lighting palette too but a great dup for it is the Revlon Skinlight in Sunkissed. For a matt bronze I like the charlotte tilbury as well as Tantastic by Marc Jacobs. When Im very tan, CoverFX bronzer is gorgeous; its dual so it comes with a matt side and a shimmer side that you can use separately or layered

This was so helpful 😍❤️ I am definitely obsessed with bronzer but the one I reach for the most is from Kiko Milano-- it's their marble bronzer they release every summer.. I'm obsessed!! The colour is perfect for me! Unfortunately Kiko Milano isnt sold in Canada and covid is stopping me from traveling 😢 I hope I can go to Kiko Milano soon lol I would love to see a full face of Guerlain! It's definitely an underrated brand! I have so many of their products but there aren't many review/ demo videos. I would also love to see a dedicated Guerlain bronzer video! Explaining the formula and application ❤️ I have been interested in the glowy bronzer with the blush tones but I'm unsure of how to use it and unsure of which shade to get ❤️

Could you talk about how to use blush and bronzer together? For example, should you pair a shimmery bronzer with a matte blush or a shimmery one (or does it even matter)? Is it important to match undertones of a bronzer with undertones of a blush? Also, one thing I struggle with is if I want to pair a cream/gel blush with a powder bronzer. I’ve learned that you want to apply creams first, then translucent powder, and then any powder products, but I’ve ALSO typically seen people apply bronzer before blush, so I haven’t quite figured out the best way to pair the two.
