The example equations will help me in my personal projects! I now know how to apply the equations. Greetings.

In your opinion what is the best CAD program?
@JokoEngineeringhelp2 жыл бұрын
That's a tough one because I like almost all of them for different reasons. Alibre Atom: Best for personal use, best value for the dollar. Lifetime license, stable modeling eviornment, no limits on how you use it. Alibre Pro: Best value for business level CAD that I know of. FreeCAD: Free with a lot of powerful add ins! Everyone who models outght to have this Onshape: Best cloud CAD in my opinion. It is everything that Dassault Xdeisgn is trying to be. The free accout is full featured but everything you model is open to the public. The paid version is 1000/year, about the same price as the lifetime license of Alibre Pro that you get to keep forever. SolidWorks usually resells for 4x or 5x that much. SolidWorks: Expensive, but standard in many industries. Lots of features. Good modeler. SolidWorks Hobby License (New): I haven't used it but I haven't been impressed with how Dassault does business. It's pretty much hobby only and you're not allowed to use it for business or making money more than like $99 or something like that. You pay it every year, and for a little more than a year payment to SolidWorks you can get an Alibre license that you keep forever and have no limitiations on how you use it. Dassault X-design- Absolute garbage. Biggest waste of my time and money ever. Reps were so uninformed about the product they misinformed me on very important and basic information. Good for basic modeling and people who don't know Onshape exists. DesignSpark- Way cool if you're looking for a direct modeling enviornment but cut out to meet dimensions easily Catia/ProE: Good platforms but complicated to use. Other platforms are more simple. NX: Daimler Benz, Honeywell Aerospace and other industries have all incurred a lot of expense to transition FROM Catia TO NX, and basically said they haven't regretted the decision. For this reason, if you need a top end industrial modeler for crazy things like designing jet engine internals, I'm inclined to say NX is the best, although I haven't used it. Everything here is strictly my opinion. I use FreeCAD and Alibre the most, so I'd say they are my favorites. Hope that helps in some way.
