So beautiful and sad 🖤 I can just envision a cinematic cutscene in Alice: Asylum where we see Bumby telling his tale to a hysterical Alice. The soft sadness really captures the characters and moment.

Absolutely! The released concept art is so good that I feel whatever is happening on it, so the sound flows naturally, while I was doing it i truly felt that I was with them 😹

Such a delicate and sorrowful tone. Almost as if he is becoming fragile as he tells alice his story and his past and as he does so the weaker and more delicate he becomes. No longer the foes he was before but now merely a victim of his upbringing. Such a moving peice and yet retaining the tune recognised with bumby. Yet much different now. Softer, slower, higher and more fragile. As if his works are cracking as he struggles to say them. As though we're seeing him differently now. You are so talented my friend. Indeed! To understand a monster, but not necessary justifying him, it holds a sense of relief to have a glimpse of why someone who wronged us may have done that. He's vulnerable, yet still holds to his twisted beliefs. And I'm feeling much better now! It's so silly to feel the world is gonna end with someone's departure 😹 But trust me that all of you made it so much easier 😺 Have a wonderful day too Charlotte!

Seeing you redo a smoother version of Familiar Face my fudging god,not gonna lie kinda cry :p I was humming a song at my job the other days and turn out it was familiar face,also alongside Force Of Protection are my favorite...but this one....there something... mesmerizing...that hit right into my very core,Joy you truly are a gifted musician and song like this is a testament of that,never lose that hope in your talent

Force Of Protection is my favorite! (Don't tell the others) 😝 The idea of a world of darkness always soothes me, they always have something hazardous yet calming. Familiar Faces was for a lost child who found a "trustful" adult she met before, this one is about the release of a burden by understanding a monster, and him opening up about his story, what made him be like that, understandable but not justified. And thank you! I'm trying everything I can to be where I need to be as an artist, I hope it works 🙏🏻

Ah, another delicate and mournful melody to add to my unofficial soundtrack folder. It's so calming, in spite of the sad undertones, it soothes the anxiety. I can see myself falling asleep to that. I just can't understand what is the true canon of all your topics. Or Light!Alice will begin the journey of finding out Bambi's true identity like this. First "Familiar Faces", then "Bargain With the Devil", followed by "Clean & Hollow", and at the end of the boss battle "Misbegotten Abomination".

Hello! Is official that Bumby will not be the toy maker selling weapons to Alice, the community funding the game was upset with this idea, so I adapted his theme to better suit the Memory Mines, this location, instead of the Toy Shop. Also the situation is not the same, Familiar Faces was for a lost child who found a trustful adult from the past, this one is about Bumby's mind and childhood, him telling us his story. Misbegotten Abomination is still the final one for the memory mines segment :) We will meet Bumby several times before that
