I just LOVE this guy's playing, it's so musical and tasteful, so perfectly executed, exactly giving what the song asks for. Glen is the man. His drumming ability is simply unmatched. The king of groove.

Holy shit I never realized how complicated this song is with all the playing the hats and ride at the same time. This dude is a sick drummer for sure!!!!!

I dont think that happens in the original version of the song

That hi-hat work just blew my mind! So freaking perfectly articulated! Wathched yesterday, watching tomorrow again. Very inspiring (practiced today under the influence)!

Absolute ANIMAL behind the drums. That’s some of the cleanest cymbal work I’ve ever seen and those fills are off the chart clean. Damn!!

Just saw you at the BB&T in NJ earlier this week, we were totally blown away at your solo. On top of the killer technique and rhythms, it might seem like a funny thing to point out but your perfection of stick twirling is the coup de grâce; I've never seen anyone incorporate it so seamlessly into their normal strokes like you do, brilliant.

Man, this guy has some tasteful chops. Miles away from some of the tub-thumpers I've seen - not that they were bad or anything. I watched the rack build and now you have my sub.

did you have to cut the hihat post off to not have it stick out the top of the clutch at that low height?..anytime I have seen hihats that low the pull rod is up to a foot higher
@lanceh46536 жыл бұрын
DW makes several different lengths. In the past I used to just cut mine. I'm not sure what Glen has done here though, but if that's a DW hat stand, he probably used the short rod.

I come back to Glenn's and Mike Vanderhule's videos all the time. This here, Frankenstein is FLAWLESS. Great stuff Brother Glenn. This video is fucking awesome for those of us who want to live vicariously through our hero's. Are you playing with a click, assuming for the theatrics timed and whatnot?
@xoanon885 жыл бұрын
Usually this is played to a click but for this show I think we skipped it. Thx for checking it out!
