Hey kids enjoy Jerry much as possible all my favourite musicians are in there 50s late 40s there is only one Jerry Cantrell. Only one Kurt Cobain . When these guys are old I have no hope for music rock industry .

It is subtle, but they are doing a tape of "Am I Inside" before they start playing "Again". On my audio recording, this happens for two minutes before they start playing "Again".

You think they should do this live on acoustics? I think they should bring it back, even if Layne’s not there.
@nuraman002 жыл бұрын
@@Joelster-og4pf Having seen them 8 times since 2007, their setlists get repetitive. They have never done "Rotten Apple" for me. "Got Me Wrong" only 3x. I want to hear anything / everything from SAP. So yes, they should play this live, it would be great. And from Jar Of Flies, it's the same 2 tracks every time. Never heard "I Stay Away". There's a lot from Facelift they don't play. Never heard "Sea Of Sorrow". "Love, Hate, Love" 1 time. From the self titled, never heard "Frogs", "Brush Away", "Over Now". It's been more than a decade since I've heard "Rain When I Die". Never heard "A Little Bitter" or "What The Hell Have I". For the SAP tracks, have the tape for the other instruments like they did, but yes, have real singing. They could apply the same concept for some of the Jar Of Flies tracks too. I like William Duvall. They like playing with each other, and chemistry is important. Alice In Chains has remained drama free, unlike some bands where there's always tension between band mates. If they like playing with each other, they'll put on a good show. I'm glad they're still playing, and putting out new music. They have great chemistry. I just want to hear different things from time to time, especially since they have a large back catalog.

@@nuraman00 Honestly, their Setlists get quite stale quickly. I’m only at least happy they play a bit of Tripod and Jar Of Flies. Honestly, I think when they do acoustic, they may have more noticeable chemistry. Also, the fans would really like it. They need to play those songs live. I might just be those people that likes ever-changing setlists each night. For example, Pearl Jam, which is one of my all time favs, and the crowd really enjoys it.

@@Joelster-og4pf It looks to me that their setlists to change every show almost, if not then just the order of them. But I've seen many songs go in and out on this tour
@nuraman002 жыл бұрын
@@Joelster-og4pf Agree, I really like the way Pearl Jam changes their setlists. Almost 1/2 the songs are different from night to night. I've seen them once each on 3 different tours, and I've heard several new songs each time live because of it. Yes, fans would really like it if Alice In Chains played SAP, and Jar Of Flies live. I agree with you. And a lot more from Facelift, Dirt. I haven't heard more than 1/2 of each of these latter albums live, and I've seen them 8x. For the tape of Am I Inside at this show, on my own recording, they had the tape going for 2+ minutes. At that point, just come out and fully play the song.

@danny araya got a quick questions. What was the pit/standing area like? Was there some movement going on down there or was it mostly just standing around? Was it the same for breaking Benjamin?
@JourneyRcks52 жыл бұрын
There isn't a pit in the front at shoreline, it's all seating that can't be removed. Sometimes a pit will start in the lawn

The younger end of the audience was all in on BB. AIC was so tight...but Bush stole the show. Rossdale is a great frontman!

@@madirishbastard6773 I saw them twice. First time in 2006. When they were just reuniting. That was pretty cool. Very positive vibe around them. Like some veterans having survived a war. Then I sah them about 3 years ago and it was one of the most boring concerts I've seen. They're clearly getting old, nothing wrong with that (me too). But it didn't felt exciting at any moment. They "just" play those old tunes perfectly - but without Layne. I prefer listening to their records. Maybe I'm just too old 😀

@@peterheinzelmann3335 unfortunately I have had (am having) the same experience. Still, a chance to see Jerry live is just essential.
