It is also kind of mind boggling to realize (with the assistance of KZbin) how many of these important shows from acts during the early/mid 1990's were recorded and are thusly preserved for posterity. None of us noticed or cared about camcorders being there because we were having such a good time. Someday we also may be thankful for all of the cellphone footage that is currently being recorded too. Agree that concert goers rarely seem in the moment because everyone wants proof that "I was there!!".

Thanks for uploading this. I miss Alice. I was never into the whole grunge thing but AIC had some cool well written tunes that I could relate to. His voice. Damn. Jerry's riffs just fit so well. As a side note, when my daughter was in elementary school she was told by one of her teachers that was helping out for the Christmas show that she needed to sing from the diaphragm. She didn't understand what that meant so I said it wasn't about just taking a little breath and singing, it's about taking a deep breath and pushing it up from the bottom of your chest. She said "dad, show me." I had Dirt on the car stereo so I did the ending of Would? at full gas - about twice the volume level of what was on the car stereo. She looked at me like I was possessed by the Devil. She knew I had taken guitar lessons and spent years learning music theory based on guitar but didn't no anything that me singing. Memories: sitting with your 10 year old daughter in the driveway belting out "If I could, would you?" and then having mom ask her when she came in the house after an hour of driveway vocal fun if she was sick because her voice was jacked. She wanted to keep going until she could get the final "you?" correct. Yeah, it was an octave higher but she got it.

@@smkxodnwbwkdns8369 I wasn't into grunge? How do you know? While I wasn't completely invested in it there's more than a few songs from Alice, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, the Melivins and Nirvana that I really liked. @@smkxodnwbwkdns8369 There are more grunge bands than what you think then. FYI it was not any of those bands that started Grunge. Nirvana did popularized it. Grunge is a scene; not a genre. @@jaimecucalon2804 I know there’s more I was referring to grunge bands I suspected he liked and does. I’m aware of mudhoney and the Melvin’s. Also, Alice In Chains is based on blues? No they’re not. He did the thing on God Smack.🤯 All the people who used to speculate about how Layne did the vocal while recording _Dirt_ without any technical assistance, but nobody's talking here about the fact that he just stands there and... _does_ it. I guess you all have seen it a few times already but I only got to see AIC live once. When I started (re)discovering all these live shows I went in order, starting from the pre-Facelift ones, so this is only the second time I've watched Layne do this, and I wasn't even sure I heard correctly. I had to go get earbuds. The vocal control is absolutely god tier. So he changed it up a little to avoid some more intense notes in this show, and got a little raw, who cares? He still had better control and tone than 99.99% of the rest of them before or since.

I was 19 when the "Grunge" scene kicked off and it was probably the greatest years of my life. In one summer I saw Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, AIC, Rage and numerous punk and Hardcore bands. All those bands were so fresh and new...it was amazing.

My 8 year old granddaughter is taking drum lessons. She knows AC/DC Back in Black now. I'm hoping she learns some AIC soon!

Thank you 1000 times over. I was 15 and hadn't yet ventured out of Medford for shows. I have been to many parties there in a later life lol
