One: This film is AMAZING!!! I saw it today and I could not get over how well everyone acted and how wonderful Tim Burton did on directing it. Two: This scene in particular is cut so that you don't get any of the comedic humor, the more dry humor that is, of Tim's because they cut out the dead man's fingers bit. All in all, the film was a hit and will definitely surprise anyone who goes to see it.

@arrowrt actually no. The original book is called through the looking glass. It was much more haunting and weird and freaky. Then Disney got a hold of it and made it all fun and cooky and childish.

But reviews are made generally by men who are over 50 and have seen thousands of movies if not more. So it's all opinion. I've seen movies that were given amazing reviews and really they weren't that great. It is all opinion.
