My triggers are when I am in a store and or in factory/plant manufacturing setup. My eyes immediately start acting up following by confusion and unbearable anxiety. Another one when I get up in morning, Getting ready to leave for work. Don't know if PPPD triggers my anxiety or anxiety causes the symptoms. One thing I know it is persistent dizziness, feeling like I am floating with heavy headiness. My heart starts racing and I sweat profusely. Followed by weird feeling like I am going to pass out. Yesterday I was getting coffee from gas station, the same attack happened and I dropped coffee, almost like passing out. But I didn't pass out. I know this is all phantom, but it's not going away.

Hi there, there are LOTS of people who experience this very thing. I'm sorry you're going through it too. Dizziness can certainly cause anxiety, and there are many people here who did not experience anxiety prior to the dizziness, but the brain has to be "primed" to keep chronic symptoms going, and the primer is usually stress. Even when you know it's a brain mistake, that does not always address the underlying (past or present) stress. This video might help: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gJvOfYqvqamfpdU

My story is very similar it all started with vertigo. The off balance feeling with movement and eyes has given me anxiety. Alice can I ask what exercises did you do. Thanks

Hi Jane! Alice and I worked on many different vestibular exercises. First, we focused on the simpler ones like visual tracking, saccades, and looking at different visual targets with head movements to the side and up and down. We progressed to eye and head movement exercises on more and more challenging surfaces and with dynamic components like walking or turning. A lot of what we did depended on what provoked Alice’s symptoms at a particular time. Since PPPD is neural circuit dizziness, triggers are not always consistent. The most important part of what we did learning to control the body’s response to symptoms. This is where the parasympathetic breathing comes in. If you’ve watched “How to heal PPPD” on my channel, I go into detail on the method.

I have vestibular neuritis. Since 2018. Was doing better. Doing everything I can to live with my wooziness. Was truly doing better. Back to work full time(at grocery store). But my anxiety has come back with a vengeance. Do not want to back on Ativan. Getting scared again. Help

Squirrelly! She always cracked me up. Remember, dizziness is normal.. everyone get dizzy. What's different is that it persists.
