Damn. His symptoms are exactly same as mine. I have done 2 brain MRIs, 2 heart echos, countless blood tests through out last 2 years. Drs found nothing. I am sooooo relieved to find this channel. Thank you so much. I have lived in so much misery. Omg. Thank you

Thanks Dr. Yo and Mario for making this video. I went to many doctors and had a brain MRI , carotid artery test and VNG test and they all came back clear . The visual disturbances and dizziness was over powering and made me very depressed . I found watching all your videos and currently viewing your online course the most helpful to my recovery. It made me look at all the stress symptoms in my life that provoked the dizziness. Thank you again and I’m pushing through my fear of going out to stores and each time gets a tiny bit easier .

I am so thankful for this story. It sounds much like my journey except I didn’t find your channel until this last month. I was diagnosed over a year ago and my symptoms were getting better. However I got really sick with a viral cold at the end of December and when I was at the height of my sickness I lost my Dad suddenly. All of this sent me into a blip in my journey. This blip has been extreme and hard. But I’m glad I found this channel.

Thank you for sharing Mario!! You were very lucky to find the solution and recover so quickly. I have had similar symptoms, plus many more, for 11 years now. I discovered the mind body connection after spending hundreds of thousands of dollars out of pocket. I have been doing the mind body approach for about 2 years now and I have improved about 30% or somewhere around there depending on the day. I must admit that it very hard to listen to stories with 100% recoveries in such very short amounts of time, but I am very hard for you man because it's a rough road regardless of the amount of time you have been on it!

I can resonate a lot with many things you said during the interview. I've had episodic vestibular migraine for 2 years. They never really affected my life because they were infrequent. It's only when vestibular migraine turned into PPPD that my life turned upside down. I was blessed because I was able to get out of that chronic state in less than 3 months and that's because I refused to stop moving. Even when I was unbalanced and dizzy, I still made it to the gym. Even when I was dizzy, I still out and socialized. I only found this channel recently and suddenly it all made sense. I did the free course because I wanna equip myself with all the tools so I don't fall into the trap of PPPD again. I know, I might still experience dizziness episodes but I'm no longer scared of them. I can't thank this channel and Dr. Yonit enough.

YES. I have a few clients I've been working with who had dizziness for 20+ years before they found these methods. They are all improving. I don't actually see a relationship between the length of the symptoms and people's ability to recover. That said, sometimes people whose symptoms started a long time ago have had longer to build up fear, and that needs to be addressed in order to get better. In contrast, others don't really fear their symptoms anymore and it's just about working through emotions.

Hello Dr Yo, first of all thank you so much for all your resources. You have replied to me in the past and I am really appreciative of all the support you give, big or small. I wanted to ask you if perhaps you already had a video on this - I personally suffer from depression, and a lot of the thoughts I have surrounding chronic dizziness affect my mental illness - does this make chronic dizziness worse? There are so many feelings of helplessness and hopelessness tied to my dizziness like 'this has affected my life in every possible way and disconnected me completely from everything'. Although I have started and continue my road to recovery from dizziness (still awaiting a diagnosis) - I often ask myself if other chronically dizzy people have the same consequences from a mental health perspective?

Hi Margot, I actually do not have a video on this but absolutely, this is something many people who deal with chronic symptoms also suffer from. The way I view it, they are not two different things- they are both part of the same problem. It makes complete sense why you would feel hopelessness and disconnection in response to your symptoms. You are not alone in that and it is a completely normal and human response to dealing with something very very difficult. That said, underlying both the dizziness and the depressive feelings tend to be the same emotional and stress-related causes.

@TheSteadyCoach
@TheSteadyCoach 2 жыл бұрын
This is a tough call. I am more concerned about the "how" than the "what." There is some amount of discomfort and exposure that needs to happen to get better, but there are different ways to approach this: "I AM PUSHING THROUGH BECAUSE I HAVE TO STOP MY SYMPTOMS NOW" and "I am doing this in a kind way to show my brain that everything is safe." The latter method is more effective.

prima voglio salutarti, CIAO! Mario thank you for sharing your story. Do you feel your sinus infection caused true physiological symptoms? Overtime the symptoms stayed and with Dr. Yonit’s approach you were able to move past these. Initially I had occipital neuralgia and continue to do so. They also believe I had a virus, possible ear infection. Yonit’s approach has helped at least 50% but I feel the occipital neuralgia and inflammation often explained to me on the left side of my head and shoulder are keeping me from healing 100%. This is what makes it difficult to believe this approach will remove actual real physiological issues without treating with hands on therapy, supplements and food intake. Basically trying to put a stop to the vicious cycle of inflammation which is difficult to believe neuroplasticity alone can directly reverse. Problem is 2 years later, inflammation still there. Any advice?

What if our dizziness is caused by VBI? How do we make sure if it's that or not? How many of us could have a very serious condition...? Not all of us get water coming out of our ears or have ear infections etc (of course) x
@TheSteadyCoach
@TheSteadyCoach 2 жыл бұрын
VBI is rare in people who are not elderly. It can be diagnosed using proper imaging techniques and it has very specific symptoms that do not follow neural circuit dizziness patterns. When a younger person comes to me worrying about VBI, that person usually has normal tests and also has a history of health anxiety and worrying about other health conditions, and that is one way I help that person reach the conclusion that he or she does indeed have neural circuit dizziness. I almost never meet clients with chronic dizziness who have a true physical cause to their symptoms- because they can be treated via medical or surgical means. The first step in establishing whether you have neural circuit dizziness or not is getting medical clearance.

I was Mario, if you had brain fog because I have severe brain fog and it would get so bad u would forget """everything """"" and have to write so many notes and would scream and yell with frustration saying I think I have ahlzeihmers or dementia, but wondering what am I going through I bn to optomologist, neurologist, did CT scan as well for tumor, mri see if had pinched nerve in neck, been to ENT had jaw problems and diagnosed TMD disorder got braces, cardiologist, chiropractor, felt so off imbalanced feel weird walking, it really resonated with me when u said u felt something pressing down on your head, that was the scary feeling, pressing down on my shoulders like this heaviness in my head and shoulders, I was just wondering if brain fog was an issue I can't focus concentrate remember???? I do chiropractor adjustments, I do have severe depression severe anxiety panic attacks ocd intrusive thoughts suicidal thoughts. It's bn a roller coaster Yes did mouth guard had tension headaches neck pain figure it was the jaw issues yes thought I had a brain tumor as well Ty, In Health and Well Being

Brain fog happens so often with these kinds of conditions, unfortunately- the brain is working extra hard and doesn't have leftover processing power.

Dr Yo, i really liked this video. Also watched the one on visual vertigo. But i would so much like to learn more about the visual vertigo. I try not to be bothered by it. But some days it is really worse than other days and than i still get scared feeling this. I do know my stress level/ anxiety is high and that was the cause 1.5 years ago. But i just keep having doubts why my brain does not work well together with my eyes now. What i feel is; - cant focus very well on close or far - i feel / see a bit delay when i look from right to left or other ways - scrolling on a Phone gives a dizzy moment sometimes - and on and off i cant see sharp in wide spaces or tight spaces... Are these all normal when having pppd? And...is the way to recover from this also the same as we do. for pppd?🙏🙏🙏 please make more video's about this .

@Mario Thanks!!! Did you notice your eye problems got less when your anxiety/ stress got less? I am getting better and better at just letting the symptoms be there...but these eye stuff makes me scared still.. What about reading a book...also better to not do that now you think? And..1 more thing, i can try to avoid screens and phone...but, now you are feeling so well again, can you use your phone/ computer etc again as normal? I dont mind putting it away as much for some time...but i hope that after i while when all sensations get less or better... i am able to do all normal things again😅😅😅

Hi Dr Yonit, i have a few short questions about my eyes/ vision stuff that i would so much like to ask @mario Is there any way i could get in contact with him? I am.doing really a LOT better since finding you here. So much is improved.. I am just still struggling with my eyes. Its..the focus on stuff looking far away or close/ there is still a lot of times a minimal delay in getting sharp. Focussing is still hard, but changing always. It depends on the day/ moment/ surroundings what i see...I am still wondering why this is happening. It feels like your eyes or not ok...but i know they are not "sick". I have been tested. I also was at the opticien. But ofcourse they also say you can take glasses..I just dont think i need them. I guess its the collaberation between eyes and brain. But i just dont understand why this is not going right🙈 My Journey started with burnout stress symptoms. When this got better, i got bppv 5x. And than i got pppd. Before all this my eyes were perfect. During burnout my eyes also felt weird. Bit than that got better. Than since pppd my eyes are on and off feeling weird and slow? Hope you can do a topic on this. I think there are more people who have problems with the eyes since pppd...? I JUST really would like to understand why this feels like it does. Understanding it is normal when going trough this pppd, will give me some rest maybe. I notice myself, getting more worried if this eye thing is something that i DO have to check out AGAIN🙈🙈🙈 please could you and or Mario give some advice?

Is this good for vestibular neuritis? or is it only applicable for pppd?
@TheSteadyCoach
@TheSteadyCoach Жыл бұрын
It's not the most important part of helping people with dizziness that is explained by neuritis immediately after the issue, but if symptoms have persisted longer than a few months and/or after vestibular therapy, then yes! If you watch Daniel's story, he had neuritis initially.

Someone told me you should try functional neurology, do you think that this works ?
@TheSteadyCoach
@TheSteadyCoach 2 жыл бұрын
Hi there, I do not recommend functional neurology based on the experiences my clients have had with them. Most practitioners that I have encountered via my clients' experiences take a body-based approach and do not address the causes of symptoms (emotions, stress, trauma). That, and these approaches are usually incredibly expensive and rely on technologies that are not evidence-based. This is not to say that there aren't good practitioners out there, but there does not seem to be a regulating body that differentiates between snake oil salesmen and excellent practitioners.
