All you have to do is look at her face as she plays, she truly feels the music, it is her life and she can interpret it better than almost any one else I have ever seen. Absolutely amazing to watch her play.

I absolutely agree about Alice's playing of Mozart...light without sacrificing strength...a balance that many great pianists do not (always) accomplish. Also, this recital is from 2012...I hope she is doing well today. Her calendar shows many concerto engagements. Wishing her all the best with her health and happiness.

I have read that she has been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, a true tragedy, I hope that the treatments for the disease give her a good quality of life and she can continue with her wonderful art.

I have watched so many hours of her performances. And many multiple more of other great pianists (an embarrassing amount - in person and recordings - I travel just to watch). She is simply spectacular and could go down as one of the greatest of all time.

MS, yes! Some years back. Every time I see those hands carrying those fingers lovingly across the keyboard I hesitate to inquire about her health. Beethoven's piano concerto number 3, second movement, I could play that piece at 8 years old. Never more after a terrible automobile accident. Play on Alice!
