yes ASA is a great watch, i found it somewhere on vhs around 2003, i was really surprised how well it was made, lots of complexity.

Wonderful analysis. I completely agree. It's a vicious indictment of the Catholic Church. I'm glad this wonderful little film is finally getting its due and finding an audience.

I can only wish that director Dante Tomaselli would remake Alice, Sweet Alice as a limited television miniseries for either Apple TV+ or for Netflix, instand of remake it as a full-length movie.

Interesting, he is Alfred Sole's cousin. Considering Suspiria wasn't too bad as a remake, I don't have a total lack of faith in remakes of these horror classics if they're done well and are largely faithful to the originals. There is definitely enough material for a full series I'd say so I'd be for it
