Kids without a present dad in their lives really suffer. Often though the mother plays mind games with the father and the man becomes so jaded that he opts out. Not saying in your case as no one knows but I do feel really sad your boys have that hole inside them. Millions do. It really messes up their lives. I had a very cold father and wasn't wanted and even though I'm an oldie sometimes I get a tear in my eye even though I totally forgave him. (He's been gone for decades). My half sisters never have cared to get the real truth, now they bully my mom, me and my brother because they hate that my mom had us when we never asked to be born. So sad that a mother doesn’t help keep a relationship with the biological (real father) of their kids. It’s her fault that this abandonment claim is in the kids minds. No matter what the problem is a woman who truly loves their children would make sure the children know their “ real father” loves them. Now if it was a molesting situation or severe abuse situation I can see keeping the children away but just because a woman is with another man doesn’t mean that the children also left the “real father”. It’s damaging to the children mentally thinking their “real father” didn’t love them. I hate this with a lot of women who leave their husbands especially for another man.

Terry McKean Fact is Goldie has always had the power, money and fame to call the shots on their divorce and custody. However, from what I gleaned Bill Hudson was a disruptive person - on the road musician, forgetful parent, self centered adult - that Goldie stepped up and limited his access to the kids until he got his act together. He cried foul and went to the tabloids (proving her point) and it's been a poisoned well ever since. The fact that Kurt seems like a natural born dad and all round good guy, she seems to have done right by everyone (both sets of kids and Wyatt Russell their 'joint' son).
@Dr.TJ16 жыл бұрын
Terry McKean It is not true that more money means you'll win in court. All you have to do if you're a father is show the court you want to be a custodial parent too. It sounds like Bill pretty much ignored his kids and didn't fight for them. And then after ignoring them claimed he was shut out. In reality, he shut himself out.

Instead, maybe their anger is based on lies. Who knows? My dad actually abandoned me and my mother with fake promises that went on for 6 years. Although I get it, you don’t have a great relationship with your dad, going out of your way post on social media “happy abandonment day” is a little much. Clearly their is unresolved issues and putting them out there after so many years just seems childish and it does seem like they were trying to deliberately hurt him. In a way he’s right, just move on. Don’t talk to him, or talk to him and seek therapy.

Life's too short. He's made his plea for resolve public, whatever the situation...let it go, forgive! Ppl change with age. Hope Kate does the right, mature thing by showing her elderly father grace. Too bad her own mother's not giving this advice!

How some people manage to divorce both their spouse AND kids will always be mind-boggling to me. Just sad. 😐
@Nogoingback4246 ай бұрын
Many parents will use their children to get back at the other parent. The children get brainwashed to hate the other parent. I don’t know if this is the case here but it is happening to millions of kids,
