Bruno Lopes Pinheiro I was thinking, after re-watching this, it was probably the other way around, this movie was released in 1988 and the the Buffy series started airing in March of 1996, the original Buffy movie was released in 1992, so this scene predates The Slayer fights by a long shot...so, who knows? She understood that everything in the realm was a weapon; she could use everything in it just like he could. She kept her cool and remained focused. Joey, Taryn, Will, and the other victims (especially poor Nancy) let their guards down. Alice knew better.That's why you see so many of those camera shots of Alice's face. She knew she had to march on full force. The murdered kids were all fledgling birds to Freddy the slithering snake.
