The video was shot over a period of three days in numerous locations on Iceland. And was made by an all female crew. Back in my life hit the #4 spot at the Official UK Top 40! Other countries where Alice Deejay crushed the charts with the tunes of "I want you - Back in my Life” were Germany, France, South Africa, Australia, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Belgium, Netherlands, Spain, Portugal and Canada.

Man, if i had a time machine & thinking about going back in the past, it would have to be the period between the late 90s & early 2000s --- best times of my life, hands down. And the music from that era was unmatched. That's the golden age of Eurodance & Freestyle, so many great songs from different artists: Alice Deejay, Rockell, YBZ, Joee, Emjay, i could go on & on! Sadly, this type of music is on life support today. Except for people like us, no one seems to be listening to them today, you hardly ever hear them on the radio. Or could it be because no one's putting out new Euro songs? And kids today have a different taste in music, they'd rather be listening to Nicki Minaj & Megan Thee Stallion 😂 As for me, i still play them in my car, pure energy & nostalgia.

I have a few memories with this tune. Being dumped by an ex - she gave me the album on the drive to drop me off. Will always thank her for that. I agree. The only thing we get is repetitive hip hop and bland modern music. I wish every place I go keep the value of the 90s music in tact and let them take most of the time to shine instead of giving it all to modern tracks.

Electronics music such as techno and trance and the 90's dance music was much more imagination inducing than today's general trance stuff. I order to enjoy real good trance music you really have to look for it now days.
