I still can't dip my fingers in a jar or use the same tool on multiple jars back to back. As soon as something touches my skin, my brain flashes "contaminated" and doesn't go back in again. Just a word of warning about Eborian since no influencer mentions this : The scent. It’s pretty strong, not good and kinda cheap. I’m not allergic to fragrance, so it could be something else, but I have tried three of their products and they all irritated my skin. I want to love this brand so bad, and when I’m tempted to try again, I try some from a tester on my hand and smell it. If you haven’t tried Eborian before, get a mini size first to see if it works for you.

Very good advice, minis are always the way to go IMHO! I’d say I mostly smell the sunscreen scent in it (which I’ve come to realize is probably octinoxate?), but yes it does have fragrance as well

Hi Alice! 😀I received some new skincare products today that I am excited to use - I purchased the Isntree - Yam Root Vegan Milk Cleanser, Heimish - Marine Care Eye Cream, Beauty of Joseon - Ginseng Essence Water, Jumiso - Snail EX Ultimate Boost Facial Essence and quite a few more products - sort of a haul I guess. I know exactly what you are talking about when you say - that you talk about a product or line too much (does that make sense?, lol). It's kinda like how I talk about Pyunkang Yul alot - I did also add a few more products from that line in my last haul as well. I picked up the TIRTIR Milk Skin Toner, Manyo Bifida Biome Complex Ampoule, SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Poremizing Fresh Ampoule and the Some by Mi Retinol Intense Advanced Triple Action Eye cream - I just need to now build these into my routine - I'm just so excited to use them. I am loving the mixsoon - Bean Essence - I can' believe how good that feels on my skin. Shrinkflation in my opinion is just plain old "not very nice" - but, what is kicking us twice is the increase in price as well. I have a few more products coming as well - just so excited - it really doesn't take much for me to be excited. I would take a box of skincare anyday over jewelry, lol. You look lovely! I’ve been using the Eborian CC (the regular one) as my sole base product for over 6 months now. Keep trying ‘new’ stuff (Fenty stick foundation 👀) but keep going back to the Eborian. It’s just the perfect mix of light coverage and skin evening perfecting. I need to get out of the ‘next best thing’ mindset and save myself the money, which I’ll only regret spending after the fact 🙈

@@AliceintheRabbitHole I haven’t tried the redness one, as (thankfully) that’s one of the only problems I don’t really have. I’m an NC25, neutral tone with tret (0.5 for over 5 years) induced dryness and dehydration. Main concerns are evening out my tone without fully masking it, looking as close to skin as possible and not exasperating dry patches. So far, the CC is the best for this, although I do need to mix two shades, as the clair is too light and the dore too dark. I’ve tried the CC brightening version though. That one was a bit too pale looking on me and needed a heavier hand with bronzer to even out. I’ve also got the Eborian BB cream, which is lovely when I require more coverage but I’m now so used to ‘light’ coverage, that even the medium that this provides is a little too much for me and I need to blend it out with a beauty blender. Soooo sad about the mixsoon!! I also have no idea whats going on with their brand nowadays. Sad they're sticking to those four main ingredients instead of more fun and novel ones like the lotus essence i have in backstock- but i think theyre still doing the single essences? idk anymore lol. Cica, ceramide and panthenol at a high content are unusually hard to find in a thicker cream! (bar the soon jung 5 and 10 panthensoside balms if just madecassoside counts lol) i guess we have to use our cica serums with a ceramide cream instead of having all in one. so tragic!

Her balm (by appearance) reminds me of the Maya Chia Super Blend Pressed Serum, which while pricey I would rather purchase the Maya Chia over DM. i havent comment here before. but when i AM in love with the FRESH kombucha cleansing treatment AND i am ALSO searching for something similar and more affordable to replace it , i feel like i have to comment.and say same here! 😊 i feel like the fresh cleansing treatment is very special and unique , with PREbiotic inulin . i havent found a no rinse cleanser that has prebiotic yet and my skin looks so much brighter and pores look tightened. thanks for sharing what you found , does the torriden cleanser give these effects ?

Hi, Alice! A saw a post on Insta recently made by one of the Welsh brothers (I can't recall if it was James or Robert, sorry!) that stated that sunscreen should go OVER primer. It sounded a bit strange to me, since I've always been taught that sunscreen goes on before any makeup product. Even dermatologists I know say this. Did you see the reel, or do you have an opinion on this? Also, I need to try the Torriden micellar since I love the Fresh one! Thanks bunches!

Oh interesting. Well, what I would say is this: the important part is making sure that your sunscreen is applied in an even layer. So I guess on a technicality, it doesn’t really matter if it’s over or under primer (as primer is…moisturizer, essentially). After all, we can still reapply through the day over makeup, with the trick once again being that even layer! What does matter, and arguably isn’t discussed enough, is that it’s best to wait a few minutes both before and after sunscreen application to make sure that film is fully formed without interference!

@@AliceintheRabbitHole , yes, if I apply my foundation right after I apply the appropriate amount of sunscreen, it slides right off my face, and that's just a waste of both foundation AND sunscreen! By the by, have you tried the About Face foundation? I know we tend to wear the same shades in many foundations, and by spicy bean tacos, it looks like I'm applying water to my face when I use the FO2 shade of that foundation. It matches SO well!

Hmm tbh I haven’t tried that because it leaves an emollient/occlusive feel (and it can be hard to wear sunscreen over oils). But I do skip moisturizer sometimes as many sunscreens are moisturizing enough!

Then they sent out an email if you signed up to get notified that it was back. I was not the only one who was not impressed when it was back in stock to purchase. Again really disappointed as it covers nothing on my face. I get better coverage/results with the Hero Rescue Balm Red Correct for $12.99. Again I was really beyond disappointed.

So I guess you're not down the Bioderma hole like derms when it comes to micellar water. I think a lot of us hate when a brand discontinues a product we like (regardless of what it is, skincare, food products, clothing). I see the Lion Pair product is getting noticed by derms (Dr. Jenny Liu has a recent video and short on it).

I like bioderma, but I used it for years haha (if I did this out/in concept, it would have been out 3-4 years ago). It is a great product, but fresh’s had more oomph.
