Same here. I’m a senior in High school and i started classes to get my EMT certification so I can go to college for emergency medicine and then medical school (hopefully). I set myself up all my high school career for my medical success and i constantly have doubts and people tell me “you are smart but not enough to be a doctor” and other stuff like that. I listen to this song all the time before an anatomy test or EMT lab/test. It lets me regain my confidence.

That's all we can ask of a doctor. I work in pharmacy and was scared going into it, but get satisfaction every day knowing i am helping others and making their lives better/easier. There are hard days, but you cant let that bring you down. The amount of good you will share with the world will outweigh the bad, even if it doesnt seem that way.

Hi darling! Congrats on your great accomplishment!!! I have 3 children who are all in college and I understand how tough life can sometimes be. Try a high quality CBD product to help you deal with anxiety naturally and find someone who is a safe place for you to talk to about how you are feeling. You are not alone - we will all get through this time together. Praying that you will overcome the negative thoughts - God loves you and you are valued. Never underestimate the power of prayer. Check out a song I wrote called Mercies on my KZbin channel - it speaks to the hope that we all need. Then listen to Destiny - you have a GREAT DESTINY to fulfill! I'm not the world's greatest singer by any means, but I try to be a messenger of hope through the songs that I write. Be encouraged. Luv n Blessings.

Everyone keeps commenting on her no makeup natural look, and yeah, it's cool, she's cool, but she's cool glammed out too, she's cool with all her different facets, whichever ones she chooses to emphasize. I just don't want to see her get backed into a corner because people feel like they gotta categorize, identify, project, whatever; we all invent and reinvent ourselves as artists, as women, as people, and ya just gotta keep growin. Growing's all about experiencing, empathizing, shifting perspectives so you can love more, live deeper, enrich, enlighten...and not get stuck! I guess I'm trying to say we're all just as real no matter the makeup or style if it comes from the heart, and that's the place Alicia presents from always...so thank you Alicia!!!xoxoxo so inspiring

Ooh, ooh, ooh Ooh, ooh, ooh She was walking in the street, looked up and noticed He was nameless, he was homeless She asked him his name and told him what hers was He gave her a story 'bout a life With a glint in his eye and a corner of a smile One conversation, a simple moment The things that change us if we notice When we look up, sometimes They said I would never make it But I was built to break the mold The only dream that I've been chasing is my own So I sing a song for the hustlers trading at the bus stop Single mothers waiting on a check to come Young teachers, student doctors People on the frontline knowing they don't get to run This goes out to the underdog Keep on keeping at what you love You'll find that someday soon enough You will rise up, rise up, yeah Ooh, ooh, ooh Ooh, ooh, ooh She's riding in a taxi back to the kitchen Talking to the driver 'bout his children and wife The first responder risking his life to give the love and got there on time She looked in his eyes in the mirror and he smiled One conversation, a simple moment The things that change us if we notice When we look up, sometimes They said I would never make it But I was built to break the mold The only dream that I've been chasing is my own So I sing a song for the hustlers trading at the bus stop Single mothers waiting on a check to come Young teachers, student doctors People on the frontline knowing they don't get to run This goes out to the underdog Keep on keeping at what you love You'll find that someday soon enough You will rise up, rise up, yeah Ooh, ooh, ooh Ooh, ooh, ooh You gonna rise up, ay You gonna make it I sing a song for the hustlers Single mothers Young teachers, student doctors People on the frontline knowing they don't get to run This goes out to the underdog Keep on keeping at what you love You'll find that someday soon enough You will rise up, rise up, yeah Ooh, ooh, ooh Ooh, ooh, ooh Ooh, ooh, ooh Ooh, ooh, ooh

Is it possible that the lyrics might be whole written and in a Highlighted Post so that we may found it at the Frontline of the comments ;-) Don’t know who’s in charge of doing this ??? Thanks for the initiative !!!

I love how it's all so true and natural. During this time we each need to help and play a part, stay strong, even when things get hard I believe that we can get in touch with our inner serves and be strong. Thank you first responders, and all health care workers you are amazing!!!

Way better acoustic cause you can hear her natural voice versus the studio version where her voice seems altered.
