This song hits home for me. I got pregnant at 16 and was told my life was over and i would always be on assistance and i would never become anything. My teachers looked at me differently so did my friends and even some family members. Little did they know is that i would go back to school 2 weeks after giving birth to graduate high school early with straight A's and immediately start working full time. 11 years later I have a good paying job and im married to the love of my life who loves my daughter as if she was his own.
