When Guin saw she wasn't getting a whole piece of cheese, it was just precious the way she expressed herself. Ana's little animation as she was talking to herself just seconds before Walt approached her for a hug was also precious as was Walt's hugging her. But what was concerning was Ana's defensive posturing when Walt walked up to her. I really wonder how Ana is treated when the camera is off.

Re smoke alarm beep, thx for the heads up. I did know but someone might not. 🤗 Years ago, a couple left for an extended vacation. Upon their return, their smoke alarm was beeping just like that. The wife sent the hubs to go fix it. So he went all through the house and replaced the battery that was beeping. Wife told him minutes later that it was still going off. He went back to double check but found it was just a mockingbird that had learned that noise while they were away. True story... it was published in a magazine many, many years ago.

I will never forget pickles, because Anastasia is my spirit animal! If the twins make it out to the Pacific Northwest. Pike place Market once had a shop that was just all about pickles. They would even give out free pickle juice shots. And it's only a hop, skip and jump to go watch them make cheese at Beecher's, just don't trip on the cobblestone street.

The sweetest sight: seeing Dada and Anna hug and kiss one another. I could just feel the love between them. My daddy died when I was 8. Memories like that are a blur for me. It seems some men have trouble showing affection to small children. Not Walt! He is one in a million. It is amazing that the girls know their shapes and colors at this young age. I sent the girls a kit to watch caterpillars change into butterflies.Alicia, you will need to send in the certificate to get the 5 live caterpillars. They stay inside the container the whole time they are forming a cocoon. All their food and water is in the container. You don't open it at all until the cocoons form. I had the kit for my students. They loved it and even an old teacher loved watching the process. Love to the Bartons, party of four!!!
