The (computerized) Dead Hand system was actually a thing that the Soviets had plans on building but they couldn't exactly figure out how to program the ICBM sensors not to trip and launch the nukes when confronted with other seismic events like earthquakes. They eventually scrapped it and built deep manned bunkers with nuclear control to handle nuclear second strike capabilities instead.

I've been a horror nut for years now and hearing Alicia explain horror to the "is this supposed to be scary" guy was so cathartic. Like, my brother in christ not all horror is five nights at freddys surprise robot gwak gwak 9000. Descriptive storytelling horror > jumpscares imo.

Due to my psoriasis, roughly 30% of my day is applying vaseline to try and reduce the itching and clear up the scales. Also, yeah, spinal taps suck large nards. I got a spinal tap to drain my cranial fluid due to an emergency repair surgery after a sneeze went bad. So I got to have about a week of a hose sticking out of the spinal tap area D: Fun Fact: When that fluid isn't in your skull, you realize how heavy that brain meat is.

Oof, all that from something as innocuous as a sneeze. I will say that the brain can hardly be called meat since it's largely composed of fat and neurons with no muscle tissue. Another fun fact about the brain is that there are no pain receptors present in the brain itself, this means that you would feel no pain if someone was poking around inside your brain.

You should play Home Safety Hotline. In the game you're essentially a 911 operator but only for home pests. The game is full of creatures based on Celtic mythology that give SCP. So you have to figure out if the caller is dealing with a mouse in the walls or a goblin that likes cheese. Once you win you can playthrough in unfireable mode so you can hear every caller call back complaining without getting a game over. These call backs are where this game gets scary. The FMV ending is also very delightful.

I like using mustache or dreadlock care products that are a mixture of beeswax and the same petroleum jelly in vaseline. Plus I can use a little of it to protect my hair in the winter. I love that the video went on that weird tangent.

Recommend SCP 662, the Butler’s Handbell (safe, depending) and SCP 231 (Keter Scenario), both done excellently by Volgun. 662 is just fun and the voice acting is *chef’s kiss*. 231 is performed in a genuinely creepy way and I’ll find myself thinking about it from time to time STILL

Those are wall/floor masters. Dead Hand is the mini-boss that turns invisible and has a bunch of arms sticking out of the ground to grab you so he can chomp your head. I remember because fighting wall/floor masters in _any_ of the Zelda games always stressed me out, but I was thrilled to see Dead Hand pop up again. Kid me playing on the N64 thought it was cool as heck for Zelda to have a "Resident Evil monster". XD I kinda wish it was in other games, honestly. Gloom Hands has the look, but acts more like a herd of floormasters.
