Not only that, 26 of those Kars (AKA a _trafik_ of Kars) fused together in order to create a working spaceship and fly back to earth, after landing, the 27th Kars gained the ability to copy any other stand he sees and make them even better, somehow he wound up turning into the de-facto protector of earth against the forces of DIO. Fun Fact about part 2: Allegedly, Joseph was one of the first trickster MCs in manga (as most of the MCs during that time were more of the heroic type like Jonathan). Part 2 was also pretty progressive for the time as Lisa Lisa could fight better than Joseph (she was also the first female mentor in manga) which didn't really happen all that much in those times (in 80s japan). Also, Araki (the writer) wanted Lisa Lisa to fight Kars alongside Joseph but was told not to by his editors. Araki also made Smokey the president around the same time that Toriyama (DBZ creator) made PoPo.

24:15 More fun Trivia! There was actually.a theory going on that Russian stand users were what killed stronheim, considering Stronheim literally had the strength of a pillar man. Unfortunately Araki has not confirmed this in any way, but the idea is interesting. I mean a tank shell would do nothing to a pillar man. But also Stronheim wasn’t necessarily a pillar man. Either way it’s a fun thought. Oh and if you’re wondering what a stand is, I guess just reread this after watching episode one of Part 3, there’s a full explanation lmao.

Something about Speedwagons death. He died of a heart attack and for some reason they had to mention that he never married. It's my favorite interpretation of his death an I refuse to believe otherwise.

I don’t know if you like these kinds of videos, but it’s a tradition to get new Jojo watchers to react to “Debunking Araki Forgot (Parts 1 &2)”, and there’s one for each part. I say you may not like them because they’re basically videos that debunk misunderstandings, misinformation, & anime-only errors that didn’t exist in the manga. They really open your eyes & make you appreciate Jojo a bit more. Some people may not like them, but they’re really cool videos that I would recommend if you’re ever confused about something that happened in Jojo that you think should have happened differently.

Congratulations; you've made it through the prologue of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure! While I kid, that is kind of how Parts 1 and 2 worked for folks like me. I got into JJBA via _Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Heritage for the Future._ Specifically, the PlayStation port of the game that released in 2001 (though I probably didn't play it until 2002 or 2003). That game is based on Part 3. The OVAs from this period _also_ jumped straight to Part 3. As such, when they officially translated the manga to English and released it in North America (2005 to 2010), it was _just_ Part 3; nothing older, and nothing newer. I wasn't exposed to _Phantom Blood_ or _Battle Tendency_ until the anime for them aired (2012)!

Joseph escaped the fate of his grandpa and his dad, and not only survived his abttle with supernatural but managed to live to a ripe old age. Now it seems the torch has been passed to his grandson....and it looks like an old family enemy will be returning.... That moment when Part 1's FULL THEME played for the final 'battle' with Kars was FUCKING AWESOME,and the fact that JoJo basically beat the big bad by PURE LUCK is just PURE Joseph Joestar. Many peeps we loved in this part grew up, made peace with their traumas and found happiness, and Erina and Speedwagon died peacefully, happy and content with their lives now that their beloved grandson/nephew beat the family curse. Stroheim was a cool due at the end, but ultimately he did terrible thngs in Mexico and worked under a terrible regime and met a deserved fate, dying in the early days of the war after doing what he could for a man who was his enemy yet he respected. I like to pretend the mexican boy he spared was the one who killed him, avenging the family sacrificed for Santana's revival. In many ways part 2 was Araki vastly improving his writing. Introducing antagonsits that had more complexity than simply being "evil" (granted they still were pretty evil), bringing in more intentional humour and having a JoJo that was less noble yet more fun and sassy, and showing many returning characters with more depth to their personalities than in Part 1. Part 2 is a fan favourite, mostly because of Joseph, who for many was seen as an improvement over Jonathan, at least for western fans. I can enjoy both but tis ahrd to deny Joseph is the one that makes you laugh more and whose fights were more interesting in how cerebral and tricky he was.

Joseph Joestar, what an absolute fucking legend, the maddest of the mad-lads somehow managed to bullshit his way into beating an unkillable Ultimate Being through mental manipulation and magic tricks. Whilst I still think Part 2 is one of the best parts, that's not to mean the others are bad at all, it's just such a unique story with interesting characters that surprises at every turn, whilst some of the other parts can end up being somewhat formulaic (whether this is a pro or a con is purely down to personal taste). Now we get ready for the Stardust Crusaders to make their entrance; Part 3 is the most influential part in terms of "things in the future being a JoJo's reference", and it's usually the most popular manga Part in Japanese polls, closely followed by Part 5 (in case you were curious for the English speaking fanbase, Part 7 is usually considered the best, closely followed by Part 2).
